Sit Means Sit Dog Training Metroplex East

Our dog, Furley, is a 95 lb Boxer/American Bully. He is as stubborn as a mule and as strong as an ox. He was 2½ years old when we brought him to SMS because he was being aggressive toward anyone that wasn't family. He would fight with the neighbor dogs through the fence, he would drag my wife down the street, he would try to go through the windows to get to anyone walking down the street. We tried every "shock collar on the market, and nothing seemed to work. We were so worried that he was going to harm a child that we contemplated on euthanasia. My wife and I decided to give SMS a chance to see if they could help. We put Mr. Furley through their 10 day program, really ot expecting much, but just for the purpose of saying "We did everything we could". Upon our first visit after the first 4-5 days, we didn't even recognize Furley. He was a completely different dog. He actually listened to commands. And when we finally picked him up to take him home, we were so excited to see the difference and the changes that had been made. Now, I can walk him through the neighborhood and he doesn't pull on the leash. I can take him off the leash in public and we play fetch with the ball. Sure, he acknowledges other dogs and kids, but he listens to every command and allows kids that he doesn't know to approach him. He looks at us to determine if someone or something is a threat, and then he just lays down and relaxes when strangers are around. Sit Means Sit literally saved Mr. Furley's life, and my family and I are so very greatful

The 10 day course was more than worth it. Our puppy was destroying everything and biting everyone. We’ve been able to train our dogs before but we were getting no where. Our puppy was a completely different dog. She’s seven months old. We were able to incorporate the training into our lives. We have six kids and so things like always heeling on the left side and walking off leash will take more time. But at five months old, our puppy will sit and wait for the command to eat, she lays down on a place board while we cook dinner. She sits on each side of the door to the backyard. It’s amazing what she will do. And never once has she been afraid of the collar or not want to put it on. I’m fully aware it does not hurt her. I’m very grateful to Sit Means Sit for helping us have a puppy in our lives that is fitting into our lives and she does think her name is “No”.
