We signed up for sit means sit because our dog was constantly pulling and sniffing on walks like we did not exist. We did a six week program with Ryan and Pat and we got way more than what we paid for they train very well with an E collar And just after six weeks, my dog can now heel, Sit, place, come, eye contact all on command. she was a shelter dog and we had her for a little over a half a year and they did change her in so many ways cannot recommend this company enough. They come to you for a one hour session once a week and let you do the rest. It was very affordable and Ryan and Pat are great people.

We were at our wits end with our dog's leash reactivity and turned to Sit Means Sit for help. Pat and Ryan were great teachers and empowered us to be better owners to our dog Jerry. As much work as they did with him, their instruction to us is truly what has helped us gain better control of Jerry and has laid a path forward to a happy, healthy relationship with our boy where he is confident enough to not lash out as he was before we began training. I came to Sit Means Sit in December 2024 with a 6 month old male Great Dane. I am very familiar with the breed, but this one was different than any others - he was stubborn, territorial, and occasionally aggressive during play or if he took possession of a pillow, blanket, or clothes. He had not bit anyone / drawn blood but he had snapped and nipped when overly stimulated or if someone other than me tried to take cloth from him. At 6 months, that’s already a big dog, knew I needed help. Ryan and Pat were extremely helpful from day one. Initially, there was a lot to be wary of - for safety, he needed to be muzzled, and I wasn’t sure how I felt about the field collar. This dissolved as I figured out that the dog knew when his field collar was off, it was free time, but when we put it on, it was time to work. The dog responded positively any time the collar came out. In my time from December to June this dog has completely turned around. Today, he graduated and was able to run every command with minimal reminder from the field collar and worked without a muzzle. He has transformed from a wild puppy that couldn’t calm himself down to the type of puppy that sits by the front door for someone to come in, waits to be invited to be petted, has near perfect recall, and has gained the confidence to be in new situations without acting out. At a year old, he heeds commands at notice, and has grown into a very good dog. Thanks so much to the staff for their patience with him and I - they were right, the owner needed to learn a few things as well. This was an investment well spent.
