Our most popular option is our Board and Train program. Your dog will stay with us for a minimum of two weeks, where our trainers will work with them daily to fast track your dog's training.

Each dog that goes through a board and train is prescribed the appropriate length of time based on the issues they are experiencing. We purchased a two week board and train for our Pressa Canario. The entire time only a shock collar was used for training. We were provided instruction on how to use it, but our dog’s aggression only worsened the more the shock collar was used. We were told to use the highest level to stop him from doing certain things, but it resulted in him attacking us several times now. The training did absolutely nothing for us. We are very sad because it cost $2700 and we were promised that we would see a change in him. To remediate this issue, we were offered to return for additional trainings, but due to the location it’s difficult for us to go back as often as we need.
We are now working with a second company trying to train our dog and for the same price.
I never imagine paying so much for training and not getting the results.
A large dog like ours should not have been trained with only a shock collar using such high levels causing increased aggression towards us. It’s a very scary and serious situation. There are zero refunds here so keep that in mind when taking your dog here.

We absolutely are happy with our sweet Zane’s experience with Caty! Zane is a Doberman that was just a pup when he arrived. We are able to take him out in public with no issues. He’s non dog reactive and loves people. His sit and stay commands are perfect. He’s 5 months old and I am so shocked how well he aims to please.

I enrolled my dachshund in the 5 day train program with Katie. Katie is an amazing trainer. On the first day there was instant results and by the last day my dog is now off leash trained, barks a whole lot less and is no longer skittish of everything. Thank you for all your help Katie!

We reached out to Sit Means Sit for help with our dog Benny, and we’re so glad we did. What really set this experience apart was that Caity came directly to our home — which made all the difference. Benny’s problem behaviors (barking and anxiety with strangers) happen in her own space, so having a trainer come to us meant we could work on the real issues in real time.
From the moment Caity arrived, it was clear she genuinely loves what she does. Her patience, her approach, and the way she connected with Benny showed true passion and professionalism. She took so much pride in her work, and that care came through in every session.
The results speak for themselves — Benny is SO much calmer when guests come over and the barking has improved tremendously. I’m beyond grateful for the time and effort Caity invested in Benny and in us as her owners.
