Thanks Whitney for asking. For our private lessons we provide at the end of each lesson a sheet of new “homework” for you to take and focus on. This allows you to make progress and keep you focused on your goals. For our immersive programs we provide two videos of progress to keep you involved and in the know about how we are progressing towards your training goals.

Our 15 month, spirited, stubborn, anxiety-ridden foxhound has become quite the well-mannered and confident young lady after our work with Matt. She took to the training right away and now we have the tools and the training ourselves to continue to move her forward. Most valuable to us is Matt’s knowledge of dogs and what our pup needed most from us. His training, mostly of us, was spot-on! Sit Means Sit was a game changer for us and a life changer for our pup. We would highly recommend Sit Means Sit and Matt to anyone seeking training for their dog.

We have a 4 year old Boston Terrier who has several bad habits that we wanted to address but didn’t know how. We took her to Matt at Sit Means Sit for help. After the first lesson we was surprised at how much difference there was. He trained not only the dog, but us as well. We learned how to use commands that actually worked to get her to do what we wanted her to do. She is a much better dog already. Now we know how to work with her to help her to be a better dog.

This puppy training with Matt has been fantastic! My dogs come when called, stay in the yard, use a doorbell to let me know when they have to go out, and don’t jump up. I have been around animals all my life and he taught to things that I never realized. It has been a lot of work, but he was there ever step of the way.The communication with him was easy and fast. I highly recommend using this service to have wonderfully behaved pets that you want to be around.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Matt was with our dog. Prior to training, she would pull on the lease when walking, and chase anything without regard to being called. She is now walking on a leash, and able to be in the yard without being tied. She can be on the farm without barking at the cows, and she does not run off when she sees another animal. Sit Means Sit Dog Training is worth every penny and I would highly recommend taking your pet to Matt. The results are amazing and the relationship you have with your dog will be even better and more trustworthy.
