FirstBarkWasn't sure what to expect and was a little apprehensive using a shock collar, but not once have I been disappointed or concerned. Matt provides the best easy-to-follow instruction and shows incredible patience with our dog and us humans! We arent there yet, but we feel very confident that all the bad behavior we've been experiencing, will be a thing of the past soon.

How do you provide feedback and updates on my dog's progress?
Thanks Whitney for asking. For our private lessons we provide at the end of each lesson a sheet of new “homework” for you to take and focus on. This allows you to make progress and keep you focused on your goals. For our immersive programs we provide two videos of progress to keep you involved and in the know about how we are progressing towards your training goals.

We can’t say enough great things about Matt with Sit Means Sit Dog Training! We have two Golden Retrievers, and he’s helped us tremendously with reactivity, leash training, off-leash recall, and improving their behavior around other dogs. Matt is incredibly patient and gives real-time feedback that helps both the dogs and us improve. He’s great at pivoting when things don’t go as planned and always has thoughtful, effective ideas. He’s also been consistently available between sessions whenever we’ve had questions or needed guidance, which has made such a difference. Our girls are now so much more enjoyable to walk, more obedient, and clearly having fun while learning. We finally have peace of mind knowing they’re safe, well-trained, and set up for success. Highly recommend!
Matt is very professional. He doesn't judge when my wife and I when we do something wrong. He keeps everything down to earth and fun. Matt's patience's with dogs and no nonsense approach makes training fun.
Matt has been great to work with, communicates well and has given us excellent techniques and training to help us and our dog.
Matt was very helpful and patient with our new dog, Loretta. She is smart but extremely stubborn and we didn’t know how to train her effectively. Matt gave us an easy set of instructions and we’ve made great progress in training. My daughter used Sit Means Sit when she adopted a puppy and she found them very effective as well. I would recommend Sit Means Sit without hesitation.
