Our most popular program is our Immersion Board & Train option, where your dog stays with us, is trained and then returned to you. These programs typically include one on one lessons and group classes to make sure you know how to continue and maintain the training that your pup has received with us. This program is customized and designed to help you and your puppy progress successfully from puppyhood, though adolescence and on to adulthood. Our Day Train programs are for training customized for your individual needs. You can tailor the Sit Means Sit system to focus on the areas that you and your dog struggle with the most. Your dog comes and trains with us while you are off at work. We do the hard work for you and your dog receives personalized one on one instruction from a professional dog trainer. After their day at school we get you up to speed with what they have learned. This program comes with one on one lessons and lifetime of follow up group classes.

Hi Anne! Yes, all training takes place in person at our facility in Tigard. Pricing varies depending on each pup, so we always start with a free consultation over Zoom first!

We adopted a 3 yr old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who barks incessantly when a human or another dog comes near our/his “space”. He is very devoted to me and gets very excited and barks even when it’s time for a walk or potty. Train less barking?

She was always so excited to see him on drop-off days, which made us feel really comforted knowing she was in good hands. Murphy is a smart girl and picked things up quickly. She’s learned so much from the program, and we’re excited to continue with future classes. One of the best parts is that the training program includes lifetime support, which is truly amazing. We also loved the hour-long sessions after training days, where my fiancé and I could learn what Murphy had been working on and how to reinforce it at home. I feel confident that we now have the tools to help Murphy grow into the best girl she can be!
SIT MEANS SIT is the best training I've experienced for my dogs. Brian, Hayley, Sam and Kayla are excellent trainers. They provide indepth understanding of all the training and how it makes for a great pet and owner experience.

Hughie worked with Ethan as his trainer, after dropping him off and meeting with Ethan we knew he would be in amazing hands. Ethan took the time to really get to know Hughie and make him comfortable with things he was scared of. We just picked Hughie up last night, and Ethan started working with us. Just seeing how excited Hughie was to show us everything he had learned in his time, was just beyond amazing. Although it’s definitely an adjustment and our time to be trained we can’t wait for Hughie’s progress to continue to grow and gain the confidence and continuing learning. The staff loves each and every dog that enters through the door like their own. We will definitely always recommended Sit means Sit dog training and Ethan for anyone willing to listen! The Sit Means Sit trainers and staff are so helpful and caring and really want the best for you and your pup. Our dog Sun loves going to the group classes and it is awesome that we can have a one on one training session with our trainer Ethan if we ever need help on behavior in the future. 10 out of 10 recommend!
