Needed a trainer to help with a few avoidance issues with Sammi. Brought the entire family and it was very informative. Tim's 20 years of experience was very evident. In just a few minutes and some of Tim's instruction, we saw improvement. The approach makes sense and is easy to follow. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit Dog Training and Tim McMillan.
We met with Time regarding aggressive behavior exhibited by our recent rescue towards our resident dogs. Tim really listened to us, understood our situation and provided us with invaluable advice. We found him to be kind, knowledge, honest and extremely helpful. We strongly recommend contacting Tim and his team for any dog training needs.
My experience at Sit Means Sit has been absolutely amazing. When I first brought my dog in, he was struggling with significant behavioral issues. After working with Tim and Brooke at SMS, it feels like I have an entirely new dog. They truly transformed my puppy’s life, making things better not only for him but also for me. We had never owned a puppy let alone with 2 small kids and just were at a loss in how to properly communicate with Ryder. It was overwhelming. I knew I had to make a change and find a place that would give me the tools, resources and confidence where I can have the relationship I want with our dog. The moment I met Tim in person, I was committed! No judgement from him just complete confidence that he could help. He has seen it all. After the first training with McKayla, I was blown away. We signed up for the 6 weeks for Ryder to learn and get acclimated to public environments like coffee shops etc. I love that our family was still very much a part of the process with training Ryder. Tim and McKayla gave us all the tools and guidance needed for Ryder and us. It’s a training for you and your dog, and I loved that aspect. I still am in disbelief at the dog I have now, from where we were 3 months ago! My highlights coming out of the training are the ability to take him for walks with minimal reactivity to other dogs and ability to be off leash in the right environment , go to brewery’s, have him at Thanksgiving dinner at a family’s house and just living with us as part of our family are huge wins!
