Absolutely worth every penny! (I waited months to write this review because I wanted to see if the training would stick.) The level of professionalism, knowledge, and dedication was outstanding. Our dog showed noticeable improvement in behavior, obedience, and confidence, and we learned so much as owners as well. Everything was explained clearly, and the results speak for themselves. We are extremely impressed and couldn’t be happier with the investment we made. Our Ellie girl was 5months when she entered the 10day board and train , we continued her training with all the tools and tips from her trainer we couldn’t be happier !

Sit Means Sit is an amazing dog training program, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He is patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners. He takes the time to explain everything, answers questions thoroughly, and makes sure you feel supported throughout the entire process. You can tell he is passionate about what he does, and it shows in the results. I can’t say enough good things about the team at Sit Means Sit. When my dog Bear started the program, he was mildly aggressive and very touch-sensitive. While we still have progress to make, the improvement has been incredible. Bear is now more well-mannered, happier, and far more comfortable being handled. Our primary trainer, Kevin, has been exceptional throughout the entire process. He is patient, kind, and knowledgeable, while still being firm and confident in his training approach. What really sets him apart is his continued support after the initial training, he makes sure owners feel confident bringing the training home. It’s obvious that he truly cares about the dogs and is passionate about what he does. Tatum and Andy are amazing at the San Juan location and always make us feel welcome. Both are friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Andy, in particular, has shared several practical tips for managing Bear’s specific quirks, which have made a noticeable difference in our day-to-day routines. Like many owners, we were initially skeptical ,especially about the use of tools like the e-collar and slip lead. The trainers took the time to thoroughly explain how the tools work, why they’re used, and how to use them safely and responsibly. That transparency gave us complete confidence that Bear was never being harmed. We even test the e-collar on ourselves regularly to ensure the level hasn’t been accidentally increased. These tools have been a game changer, allowing Bear more freedom and a better quality of life instead of being restricted to short, tense walks. If you’re on the fence about this program or have concerns about training methods, I highly recommend meeting the team in person. Ask questions and see the process for yourself, you’ll quickly understand why this program is so effective. This has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for Bear.
