Our Dog was very reactive and the training that was introduced by Joel was very helpful(along with the training we needed as parents). We would definitely recommend. We would suggest purchasing the complete package. As dog parents we can get busy and options for sessions in the future will continue to reinforce good behavior.

How much do you charge just for leash training? I have a four year old border collie and she is well trained accept on a leash. She heals until she sees another dog and lunges after them. She has has sprained my hand trying to pull her.
We do not charge ala cart prices for commands. We have all inclusive packages that allow us to dig deep into your dogs reactivity and give you more than just a band aide.

We have a high energy, field golden named Ripple. When we first got him, we looked into Sit Means Sit simply for puppy socialization options, but we quickly learned how much more the company had to offer! My husband and I are very active with paddle boarding, hiking in the mountains, going for runs, and mountain biking. We also spend a lot of time visiting with family and friends with young kids. It was of upmost importance to us that our dog be well-mannered and listened to us, particularly at a distance in off-leash scenarios. Sit Means Sit made everything incredibly easy on us, from texting back and forth to coordinate, providing the e-collar and training tools to us as part of our package, coming to our house for our initial meeting and some training sessions, and always being available to support us if urgent questions have come up. We ultimately chose to do the 20-day Board and Train program which we split into 2, 10-day sessions about 4 months apart, starting when Ripple was about 6-7 months old. This was the perfect scenario for us. Our bond with Ripple really deepened when we all could understand each other and trust each other while out and about. Instead of being stressed, we have tools and trust to handle most situations! We confidently hike and mountain bike with Ripple off-leash. He is polite in meeting children and other adults, sitting until he has our permission to greet them and returning to us when we call him back. The 2 most important takeaways from the training that I have are 1. Consistency is very important! Ripple has come back from his board-and-train sessions in tip top shape and it is up to my husband and me to maintain all the hard work. Sit Means Sit's weekly classes are perfect for this and we are looking forward to joining these somewhat regularly. 2. It is almost more important that the human's be trained than the dog, since the dog looks to us to be clear and consistent. They know what the commands mean and they are more likely to follow us if we are clear! I've learned so much about dog parenting. I am so grateful for the confidence and the community that Sit Means Sit has provided our family.
We had an excellent experience in all regards. We are very happy with the initial training and the classes that have followed to reinforce and advance our dogs behavior.
Malibu has gained confidence and this really helped with her separation anxiety. She went from fearing her kennel to happily going to her kennel on her own accord! We did 2 10-day sessions and missed her so much! Loved the pictures and videos they SMS sent!

You really can teach an old dog new tricks! My dog is 10 years old and seriously needed obedience training, especially when it came to getting along with other dogs. I wasn’t sure what to expect at his age, but Sit Means Sit was absolutely amazing. Not only does he now do all the basic commands, but he is so much better around other dogs, too. The training truly made a huge difference, and I’m so grateful for the patience, professionalism, and care they showed throughout the process. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone who wants real results.
