FirstBarkOutstanding experience here with my 3-year-old Australian Shepherd... A very loving, but VERY stubborn and energetic dog. Is it possible to train a5 year old golden lab that don't deal with other dogs " not aggressive, but excited

I cannot say enough good things about the Sit Means Sit program. From the first interview with Mark till graduation I was thoroughly impressed. I have one high strung lab and one hard headed lab, both puppies - (11 months and 8 months) Angel and Mark worked wonders with them both. I enjoy my walks with them and they listen much better, I just wish I had started them sooner. These puppies are not small and will only get bigger therefore I had to get them under control! I cannot wait to start group classes with these 2 puppies but one at a time for now! I will leave you with this and I can honestly say….YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! 🩶🐾🩶

What a difference this program and trainers made in my life. My dream dog was overpowering me, high energy, bursting out of the front door. Today, I was complemented by a stranger that he's the best behaved dog they've ever seen. I loose leash walked him around downtown and brought him to work with me. He is such a changed boy and it has really reduced our stress and increased our happiness. Would do it all over again!

We could not recommend Sit Means Sit more! We have put both of our rescues (Boykin Spaniels) through the program (Smokey - started at 1.5y/o, now 2.5 y/o, and Benny, currently in training and 8 months old). Smokey was terrified of everything when we rescued him; we could not get him to go in and out of his kennel without submissive peeing and he was terrified of the command "sit". Now, he is a confident boy who is perfectly off-leash trained and loves everyone he meets (after some cautious sniffing). Benny, on the other hand, is a very stubborn and head-strong puppy that pulled on a leash harder than any dog I have ever walked. After three one-on-one sessions, Benny has mastered every command and is walking wonderfully on a leash! Our dogs are a testament that Sit Means Sit is for all different personalities. We could not be more thrilled with the outcome and are looking forward to putting Smokey and Benny through more advanced classes.
