FirstBarkCam & Jo are amazing! I would 10/10 recommend sit means sit (and those 2) every time. I have a high anxiety Samoyed and they have been able to teach both he and I how to manage it. They take their time and really want the best for the dogs success!

We have a variety of programs including private lessons, day train programs, and board and train programs. We also offer group classes and agility classes. Please note we are virtual only on Mondays. Where do your training lessons take place?
One of our biggest training philosophies is tackling any training issue at the root of the problem, which is usually away from the home under distracting environments. That being said, we encourage both private and group training sessions at our facility or in a public setting that we refer to as “field trips”! Does it cost money to meet with you all to see if you would be able to train my dog?
We offer a completely free consultation in order for us to get to know you, your dog, and training goals. From there, we will recommend the package that would be best! Sometimes they do have a coupon in the clipper flyer. Prices vary depending on the package. A couple hundred to a thousand dollars. I had a very aggressive dog and he did wonderful with Sit Means Sit.

I recently enrolled my high-energy German Shorthaired Pointer, Buck, in dog training classes with Jo, and I can’t recommend her enough! Jo is an incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and positive trainer who truly understands working breeds like pointers. From the very first session, she had Buck focused and engaged, using techniques that played to his natural drive and athleticism rather than fighting against it. The results have been outstanding. Buck is now so much better behaved at home and on walks—no more pulling like a freight train, jumping on guests, or ignoring commands when distracted. He’s listening consistently, and his recall has improved dramatically. Jo’s structured approach also helped tire him out both mentally and physically in ways our daily runs never quite managed. He’s happier, calmer, and honestly a joy to live with now. If you’re looking for professional, effective training that builds a real bond with your dog, Jo is the real deal. Buck and I are both thrilled with the progress—thank you, Jo, for the excellent work!

After just three training sessions with Joanna, Barley truly became a changed dog. The difference in his behavior, focus, and responsiveness has been incredible to see. Joanna was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. She brought such upbeat, positive energy to every session and was always incredibly patient with us while explaining what Barley worked on during the day. She made sure we understood the techniques so we could continue reinforcing the training at home, which made a huge difference. Another thing we really appreciated was the value. The price was very reasonable for the level of training and support we received, and the lifetime access to group training sessions is an amazing benefit.
