Sit Means Sit Dog Training - Toms River

My girl Graci is currently attending Sit Means Sit for a 5 week program, to be followed by group classes. She is the best girl, but was like Cujo whenever we were within sight distance of another dog. When we went for the evaluation and Ray told us we wouldn't recognize her after the first session, I figured that was a really good sales pitch....Well, he was right! We have finished the first 3 weeks, and wow, my girl is like a new girl! I can now take her out on a walk and we can walk right past another dog, and she barely even flinches! She is following the commands that we have learned so beautifully, and she is really proud of herself when she does a good job. And I feel so comfortable dropping her off, as the staff really and truly cares about my girl (and all the dogs), especially Chrissy and Cassidy. I am so excited to see what the rest of our training brings! Thank you Sit Means Sit!

Ray’s a great person to explain the process and expectations with Sit Means Sit. I really appreciated the effort Cassidy made in explaining behaviors and corrections. She has a great energetic attitude with the dogs and the people she works with. She really helped me understand how to continue the well trained behavior at home with our dog Nova. I never once worried about the care or safety of Nova at this location. We did the 5 week training with the 3 months of group classes, and just finished the training portion. I am looking forward to the additional lessons with the classes and to get her to become a certified therapy dog. To my knowledge they have NJ certified dog training exams done at this location.
