Sit Means Sit - Massachusetts

I knew we needed help when we were chasing our puppy, Emmett, around the backyard to try to get him back into the house. Our neighbor had the happiest, most well-behaved dog in the neighborhood, so I asked him what the trick was. He recommended Sit Means Sit. We made an appointment with Dave, and that ended the days of chasing our puppy in the yard. After we trained with Dave, our entire family and puppy were happier. Emmett came when we called him and did a great job on walks. We were also able to bring him to soccer games and dog friendly events without worrying. When Emmett turned two this past summer, we found that we needed a refresher course. Dave met with me and Emmet and after an hour, Dave had both of us back on track. I cannot recommend Sit Means Sit highly enough. The training truly made all of us, including Emmett, more confident and relaxed.

I can not say enough positives about my experience with sit means sit. My dog was trained with Dave nine years ago. Over the years, I’ve called Dave for help when my dog’s behaviors became challenging and he’s helped to correct them and to reinforce the basics with my dog. As the years went on, I became more lax with the use of the collar and the commands so my dog’s behaviors unfortunately became worse. We recently got a new kitten and my dog began to exhibit aggression towards the kitten. I called Dave and he was happy to have us do another training session with him to reinforce the basics once again. He also gave us plenty of helpful tips on how to best introduce the dog to the new kitten. Now, it’s on us to keep up with what we’ve learned. I am so appreciative and thankful for Dave!
