Sit Means Sit of Orange County specializes in dog and puppy training for the real world. Our experienced staff works well with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and temperaments. Our goal for our clients is to have happy obedient dogs with on and off leash control around severe distractions. Utilizing Sit Means Sit’s Better, Faster, Smarter training system, we make it fun to accomplish this goal quickly. Additionally, we back up the results with life time training to insure our clients have support for the phases and changes in life. In all our obedience programs we teach the basic commands like come, sit, place, etc. We will also work with your dog on things like car manners, loose leash and off leash walking, and furniture rules. Additionally, we teach how to stop nuisance behaviors like jumping, digging, and biting.

A premier program. In this program, your dog will stay in the care of our staff at our training facility. During their stay, your dog will be training daily with our professional dog trainers. Your dog will quickly learn the commands we teach in the Obedience Training Program.

Our Group Training Program is unlimited for the life of your dog. Clients must first train in the Private Lessons Program or a Board and Train Program before being graduated to Group Training. Once ready, clients can come to as many group classes as they want for the life or their dog.

It works!! This is the best obedience training course I’ve ever experienced! I opted for the one-on-one sessions with a trainer for my 2 yr old terrier and I’m so happy I did. The training is simple and it just makes sense. It’s been very easy to stay consistent with their at-home instructions, too. I love that they follow up and you can ask any questions that come up between sessions. I feel very supported by the staff and my dog is a perfect gentleman after only 4 sessions. Strangers even comment on how well behaved and well mannered he is when we’re out! It’s been amazing watching my dog’s confidence blossom both inside and outside our (very quiet, bark-free) home. Huge thank you to everyone at Sit Means Sit!
This is the second pup I have sent to Sit Means Sit and they do not disappoint. Having a rescue that started showing signs of reactivity made me very nervous of what to do. Todd and the Sit Means Sit staff made me feel comfortable for both my pup and their safety within the first consultation. I cannot recommend them enough and can feel confident in caring for my pup. Daniel was extremely helpful. Petey is much better around my kitties but not yet trained completely to leave them alone. He goes to his place and will sit but doesn’t stay on it long. He knows sit and down but gets up shortly thereafter. I believe he is testing me so I keep working with him. Barking is less unless someone comes to the door

Jason has been patient, knowledgeable, and has given us practical tools that have made a huge difference both at home and out in public. The group classes have been a great next step for continuing his training, and it’s been fun to watch Nigel build on everything he’s learned.
