Sit Means Sit West Houston Dog Training Sugar Land, Katy, Fulshear

This place is life changing, David is such a wonderful trainer. We have an American Bulldog who is very loving but also on the stubborn side. He liked to dominate walks and would drag me around, he got overly excited when he saw people or pets and listening wasn’t his strong suit. David changed ALL of that. We dropped Boris off for the 10 day obedience course and David kept us updated daily with videos of his progress as well as instructions on how to keep the training consistent at home. We have our baby back but he actually listens to me now. We can comfortably walk him and when I tell him to heel he comes right to my side. If he sees a child or animal I tell him to leave it and he continues his walk like that person/animal isn’t there anymore. I even took him on a hike with me off leash (off leash permitted area) but with his collar still on and he came when called and listened to all commands given. We were really at our wits end with Boris as he is a big dog who was hard to take out in public but David helped completely transform him. He still has his sassy American Bulldog attitude but he listens so well and still has fun! I definitely recommend Sit Means Sit and I HIGHLY recommend David, he is the best. I rated 5 stars because 6 wasn't available! Super friendly staff that has customized my dog training to our special needs. There is constant communication between the trainer and i and we never feel rushed during a lesson. After one class i can already see a huge difference in my dogs behavior. Our trainer is extremely knowledgeable at training and understanding our dog and her querks. I would highly recommend this place for dog training. It feels like the trainer truly cares about out dog and wants her to succeed! He focuses on rewarding good behavior and does not punish,and it works so well! Great business and great staff!thank you!
