Sit & Stay, where dogs become family dogs, and the humans get trained too! We’ve had three rescue dogs over the years, and every single one of them has gone through Sit & Stay. Honestly, I don’t think we’d have all three, or my sanity, without them. Our first dog, Maylaa, now 13, brown and white, came into our lives when my kids were little. I wasn’t a “dog person,” but I am a mom, and the deal was, if we were keeping the dog, she had to be trained. Enter Clark Inghram and his amazing team, including his daughter, Shallingda Inghram, who have become like extended family to us. Sit & Stay helped us train Maylaa from the ground up with group classes, structured walks, and clear communication. She turned into the calmest, sweetest, most polite dog. We’ve gotten compliments on her for over a decade, and every time I just say, “That’s Sit & Stay.” Next came Mia, now 6, white and black, who was a wild little ball of energy when we rescued her at just 8 weeks old. Hyper, nonstop, into everything. Sit & Stay boarded her as a puppy and helped potty train, crate train, and redirect that endless energy into something productive. Thanks to their early intervention, Mia grew into a playful but well-behaved dog who doesn’t chew things, respects boundaries, and listens. Then came the baby, Maddy, 1 year old, brown and black, rescued at 6 months old. She was incredibly timid, scared of people, loud noises, especially men. Sit & Stay worked patiently and consistently to build her confidence. They boarded and trained her, and helped her adjust to our home and family. Today, she’s still gentle and cautious, but no longer fearful. She’s potty trained, relaxed, and trusts us, and we’re so grateful for that progress. One of the things I love most about Sit & Stay is that they don’t just train the dog, they train the household. Everyone learns the same techniques, so when the dog comes home, there’s consistency. That’s made a huge difference with every dog we’ve brought home. And the impact goes beyond the dogs. When my daughter was a teenager, Sit & Stay gave her the opportunity to volunteer. It earned her community service hours and helped her stay focused on her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She’s now in college in Georgia with Maylaa and Maddy, running a babysitting business and training the dogs of the families she works with using everything she learned at Sit & Stay. She still talks about them all the time, and Shallingda team even plan to visit her in the next few months to check in on Maddy’s training and make sure everything’s still going smoothly. That kind of support, even across state lines, says everything. We’ve watched Sit & Stay grow from Clark to Shallingda, and the business continues to thrive. They treat every dog with love and every family with respect. I recommend them to everyone. And when I meet someone whose dog doesn’t listen, I say it straight, “You need Sit & Stay.” From a rescue-loving dog mom who never meant to have three dogs, but wouldn’t trade a single one 🐶🐶🐶

I can’t thank sit n stay enough for providing such excellent training for my pup and ME! My boy was dominate of me when I got him as a puppy and I finally took him to sit n stay when I was almost to my last straw. My pup is THE BEST BOY now! We continue to go to group training on the weekends regularly, 2 years later, for fun. My pup is so excited when I even mention training and runs to the car to go! What they provided me is invaluable!!!
