Abby is an absolutely brilliant trainer. I had previously invested thousands in training for my GSD at various ages and nothing ever took. He has always been eager to please but struggled with impulse control, random dog aggression, and severe anxiety. We even tried medicating him and that failed. Our biggest priority has been his safety and we wanted him trained in a way where he could control his emotions and impulses, focus on us, and not be a flight risk 😅 Abby was honestly my last shot and I wish I had heard of her years ago, I would have saved myself so much time, money, and frustration! She listened to all of my MANY concerns and answered all of my questions. She even did a free consultation at my home and took time to get to know my dog’s personality before making recommendations. Within 4 weeks, Abby has transformed my sweet boy into an absolute angel. He is now calm, can be off leash on trails, and walks like an absolute dream. We’ve taken him to multiple chaotic scenarios (breweries, dog-heavy trails, and places with lots of kids and dogs running around) and he is calm, focused, and obedient. Within one week of having him back, our home feels so much more relaxed, we feel reassured he will not run out of an open door, and we feel ready to have him return to play dates. Abby constantly sent updates as I was a very nervous helicopter parent in this scenario 😂. We had a thorough take-home session in downtown Winter Garden and she was so helpful in walking us through how to keep up with his training and handling different scenarios. It was also very apparent how much my boy adored her because he was quite sad to be parting with her. As someone who has spent over five figures in dog training in the last 2.5 years and none of it took, let me say this: do yourself a favour and go with Sit Pretty from the start! I could not be more proud of my boy for all of his progress and grateful to Abby for her expertise 💕🥹

We did the 3-week board and train with our GSP Lux, and I am truly blown away by the results so far. One of the main goals we had for Lux was learning to walk nicely on a leash, and I am so impressed by how well Lux has been doing. Walking on a leash can be a struggle for most dogs, particularly for GSPs, but Lux is really excelling. The whole process with Abby was seamless; she was great at communicating and keeping us updated with Lux’s progress. It can be scary leaving your pup for weeks at a time while your away, but Abby was so reassuring and professional. She offers all types of packages depending on you and your dog’s needs and goals and is helpful in determining which path is best for you and your dog. I am so happy with how Lux’s training went and would not hesitate to work with Abby again!

She listened to all of our issues and gave clear directions on how to correct our dogs and help them thrive. We have a full house of hound, jackelope, and spicy chiweenie.
