Got a dog who is being a little shit? Well we did. Super cute puppy that was a complete terror - barking, biting, scratching, couldn’t sit still, etc. We trained him some (sit, down) but more than that was proving to be a challenge and it was making the relationship unenjoyable. Then we found Sky Soldier Dog Training and everything changed. Brandon does not mess around, and that is a good thing. He tells it like it is and gives you the instruction and tools you need to turn your troublesome dog into a well-behaved companion. That said, you have to put in the work to see the results. If you do, it is so worth it. Our pup is so much better behaved. We learned how to properly teach sit, down, place, recall, heel, how to use a pinch and an e-collar, and it’s working. We will continue to train him with what we learned because these things don’t improve over night. They take time. My husband and I adopted a 5 1/2 year old rescue dog in November 2023. Tommy loves people, especially children. However, it did not take us long to realize he had an issue with other dogs, especially large dogs. If a large dog approached us during a walk, Tommy would pull to the end of his leash, bark, growl, show his teeth and literally challenge the dog to "come and get me". The problem is Tommy weighs 13 lbs and the large dog could have him AND us for lunch. We knew we needed help and Brandon Eicholz and Sky Soldier Dog Training provided the help we needed. Brandon helped us understand that Tommy's reactions are not based upon the desire to attack another dog. They are based upon fear and the need to protect himself. Once we embraced that, the lessons taught and exercises practiced over the 6 week period helped us help Tommy. We have passed large dogs on walks in the past several weeks and with a simple leash correction we can redirect Tommy to continue on our walk. No barking, growling, baring of teeth. Tommy is a work in progress and to be honest, so are we. We know our work with him is ongoing. Sit, down, heel, come and PLACE! This is the way! After bringing home our 8 week old black lab I found myself swimming in information on the internet about how to properly train my dog. I needed a regimented schedule on what to work on & when. Sky Soldier gave me exactly that, and the knowledge behind it. She's 18 weeks old now and has full understanding of these crucial commands that will last her lifetime. I highly recommend Brandon.

I just want to say I am beyond words with the training we received! In the past, we wasted hundreds of dollars on trainers that would promise things that they later didn’t fulfill. That left us extremely hopeless, we loved our German Shepard, but she would pull endlessly and would not listen to us a single bit. Mind you, we already had trainers that couldn’t help her. I had a co worker mention that the training he recieved here did wonders for his dog so I gave it a shot. Can I say what a tremendous turn around our dog made?!?!?! Before I couldn’t take her out potty, only my husband would, due to her pulling. I can now comfortably take her on walks and potty without ANY PULLING. She listens to our commands and is overall a well behaved dog. A dog that had major anxiety is no longer on medication to treat it, as the training we received also fixed a lot of her anxiousness. I couldn’t recommend this company anymore if I tried! If you are in search of someone who actually deserves your time and doesn’t waste your money start here. I sure wish we would’ve!!!!
