Sky Soldier Dog Training

We had a wonderful experience with Sky Solider Dog Training. We originally signed up to help with our new puppy, Rocky. We were apprehensive of trying another trainer after many attempts to help our older rescue dog Abby with her anxious behavior. Brandon not only helped Rocky master the basics but he was also a wealth of knowledge when it came to helping our older dog and her bad habits. Abby had been on anxiety meds for several years, everyone we talked to/trainer we tried suggested this was the best way to help her anxiety. With direction from Brandon, we were able to wean her off the medicine -- turns out the medicine wasn't helping her behavior at all. As a busy family, we are so grateful to now have to well trained dogs! It's such a nice relief to have someone to ask questions to when they arise in regards to dog behavior -- thank you Sky Solider Training!

We recently worked with Brandon and had a great experience and would highly recommend him. We contacted many trainers and Brandon was quick to respond and communicated the program/process and financial investment up front. Our 6 month old Aussie Doodle, Birdie, came from a foster situation and was great with kids and women but behaving differently towards men, and particularly my husband. Birdie was barking and jumping and generally seemed anxious around him and any other men she encountered. Within the first week of practicing what we learned at our first session we were able to use the Place command to occupy Birdie when she would otherwise jump and bark at my husband while in the house. As the weeks progressed and we learned new commands we have been able to use all/a combination of them to have a much more calm, safe and enjoyable experience with Birdie in our home.

My four year old, Darla is very fearful, combative and protective. The two were starting to be a very dangerous combination for her. I didn’t know what to do, I had been to two trainers previously and nothing was working. Finally, I stumbled upon Sky Soldier and reached out for a consultation being sure to tell Brandon that I didn’t want another person to come in and just waste my time. I can say that it was not a waste of time at all. Darla still has a long way to go, but the transformation that she has already started to exhibit gives me so much hope for her future. Brandon was able to come in and teach both Darla and myself the structure that Darla needed that I was lacking to provide. Yes, I was part of the problem. I can’t thank Brandon enough for helping me to become a better leader for Darla and teaching me how to give her the structure that she needs in order to thrive. Together, Darla and I will continue pressing forward in training. I would recommend Sky Soldier Dog Training to anyone that needs training.
