Smart Dog Obedience

Smart Dog has truly made such a positive impact on our lives. Our dog Onyx came from a muddled background and was left with many behavioral issues. She has an extreme prey drive and serious resource guarding issues. We had a baby on the way and were concerned with how her behaviors could present themselves with a new baby in the house. We sent her to the Smart Dog team for behavior modification training and we truly can't begin to put in to words how unbelievable her transformation has been. She is a completely different dog who is so confident in her everyday life and is an absolute joy to have around the new baby. We can't recommend the Smart Dog team enough.

We found Lea (Smart Dog) on a referral, we came with some unusual hesitations we lost a 15 month old pup that contracted pneumonia while being train and boarded. Lea understood our feelings made us feel extremely comfortable, I was also concerned our Charlie would come back a little robot pup, but not the case he is still his goofy self just with better manners and more confidence.  Lea and her staff are incredible at what they do, this isn’t a job for them it’s a passion and it shows. We concur with everything, and add only two things, in case these points were missed by others: Lea does not discriminate on the basis of breed, size or princesshood. We sent our two Maltese (separately) as puppies. They are all dog -- and well trained. And the real training (yours!) begins when the dogs come home. That's why Lea is in it with you for the long-term -- not because the dogs need follow-up training, but because owners do!

Smart Dog = Safe & Happy Dog! Lea and her girls (Frankie & Chloe)are truly amazing! Their knowledge and love for the pooches goes above and beyond. They want to teach dogs and owners how to be happy and safe in all environments. Our pup was a little anxious in certain situations, and they helped her (and us) know what to do and how to be safe. I really cannot say enough about them. Any dog that we have moving forward will go though their training program. BTW, they offer great support and group outings after the (formal) training is over. They are simply...THE BEST.
