Smart Dog Obedience

We have had two dogs go through the Smart Dog off leash training program and the results have been amazing. The dogs graduated as confident, relaxed and well mannered companions. You can tell they love their new found confidence and understanding of how they fit into their family as a companion. The experience is truly rewarding for everyone. The staff aren’t just trainers, they become life long friends of your dog and you can see this when they reunite at group training events. Five stats isn’t a high enough rating for Lea and her crew.

We have now sent three of our dogs to Lea, and her training has been nothing short of extraordinary. She has a remarkable ability to transform them into the most confident versions of themselves. As a dog owner, I previously experienced a great deal of anxiety during our daily walks due to my dogs’ behavior. I entrusted Lea with two of my dogs, confident that she could address their reactivity towards other dogs and people. When I picked them up, I was astonished by the progress they had made. Our walks have become much more enjoyable, and I no longer feel anxious about encountering other people or dogs. Remarkably, they no longer react, or even look, when another dog barks at them. Numerous neighbors in our subdivision have stopped me to comment on how much my dogs have improved and how impressive their behavior is. I cannot recommend Lea highly enough; she has truly transformed the lives of both my dogs and me for the better. I will undoubtedly continue to send my dogs to her in the future.

My 14 week Golden Retriever, Nikki, was attacked and wounded by a stray dog who wandered into our yard. I was just sick, thinking that she would never trust another dog and not become socialized. I called Lea at Smart Dog and she gave me the best advice. I took Nikki to day training where Lea hand picked the dogs that would be appropriate for Nikki's exposure to other dogs. She is now well adjusted and loves other dogs. It was like a miracle. Nikki has been through the Off-Leash training and she is a happy and obedient dog.
