FirstBarkOur German Shorter Pointer Hadley was a bit rambunctious and easily distracted. Smart Dog was able to train her into a well behaved pup that listened. They did a great job. And we always have fun on there monthly outings.

After a year of Smart Dog teaching me and my dog, the transformation is very evident! Having the knowledge to work with my dog at home is invaluable. Lea at Smart Dog is patient and definitely knows what’s she doing. I will continue going back to hone my dogs skills and encourage anyone with a dog to get them trained at Smart Dog. Our dog Islay (Rhodesian Ridgeback) was growing fast and was very difficult to control, even with conventional training. She pulled on walks, jumped on us and visitors, and was incredibly stressful to manage. After getting her back from the 6 week off-leash program, she has been the same fun, loving dog, only incredibly well trained beyond our expectations. She listens to us, she no longer exhibits unwanted behavior, and trusts that she is safe in our care which we think has made her even more affectionate towards us. Lea and her Smart Dog team made us feel that we could trust them the entire time that Islay was in their care. Lea is incredibly knowledgeable and promptly responded to our questions before, during, and after the training program. If/when we get another dog, we would absolutely send them to Smart Dog; it has been worth every penny and has made dog ownership rewarding and virtually stress-free!
Lea is very helpful and nice. She loaned me a dog crate to see if I could use it before purchasing one. I will be getting lessons from her in Feb. She gave advice over the phone for my rescue dog.
