Smart Start Puppies - Dog Training

I can’t recommend Tony enough! Choosing him to train my Yorkie, Amore, was truly one of the best decisions I’ve made. As a first-time dog owner, I had no experience, so investing in training with Tony has been the best investment I could have made. Yorkies are known for being stubborn, so I was honestly shocked by how much Amore learned after just our very first training session. She picked up so many commands, and seeing how calm and well behaved she was in public, especially for a 7 month old puppy, was honestly so impressive. From day one, it was clear how patient, knowledgeable, and passionate he is about what he does. He pays attention to the smallest details, quickly spots behaviors that need correcting, and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand and apply at home or in public. You can truly tell how much Tony cares about every dog and wants every owner to have a happy, well behaved dog. He’s always happy to answer questions, explain why he’s doing something, and make sure you feel confident continuing the training at home. I’ve had such a great experience working with our trainer, Chris! He’s super patient, easy to work with, and has helped us make a ton of progress with leash control, reactivity, and desensitization training. He always takes the time to explain why certain techniques work and really cares about helping both the dog and owner succeed.
