Debra is the best dog trainer in the KC area. She loves your dog like her own and makes herself available day or night to answer questions about any problems you may be having. Our family has used her to train two dogs now and we receive nothing but compliments on how well behaved our dog is. We owe that all to Debra at Smartypaws and would never feel comfortable going anywhere else in the future.

We were leaving town for a week and a friend offered to watch our new 7 month old puppy so we didn't have to pay to board her. Our friend has a 3 year old male springer spaniel who is very sweet but used to being an only dog. Debra took the time to give us some pointers on getting the dogs acquainted before we left. The first meet up between them went way better than we expected thanks to her advice. Over a two week period we got them together a couple times and by the time we were ready to drop off our puppy there were no issues. I now have video of them playing together and running around the yard. I was extremely nervous but everything has gone so well and it's all thanks to Debra and her advice. Thank you so much!
