SmartyPup! has been instrumental in the learning and growth of our 8-month-old puppy, Diego. We’ve attended socials, obedience classes, and scent classes here, and we would be the first to recommend them to any new puppy parents trying to navigate the daunting world of dog ownership. 5 stars across the board! I personally have to shout out Tyler, who has been our primary trainer and an absolute game-changer. His patient, positive approach made every session engaging and gave us the confidence to continue the training at home. Diego always leaves happy, tired, and eager to learn more. Our family recently completed the Puppy 1 training class with Tyler, and we absolutely loved the experience. Over the course of five Saturdays, my husband, our two daughters, and I had such a fun and rewarding time learning how to train our puppy, Frida. Each class was engaging, interactive, and full of practical tips. Tyler is an exceptional trainer—knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly good at making the sessions both fun and effective. He taught us really great foundational skills and lots of cool tricks. it’s been amazing to see how much Frida has progressed and how her confidence has grown. We also really appreciated the thoughtful follow-up emails after each class, along with the helpful materials that made it easy to continue practicing at home. And as a bonus, the extra 15 minutes of complimentary puppy social time after class was such a highlight—Frida loved meeting and playing with other puppies. Overall, we highly recommend this class to anyone looking to build a strong bond with their puppy while having a great time doing it. We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Smartypup! Our dog started in Puppy Daycamp and we’ve since gone through Puppy 1, Puppy 2, and most recently the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) course. The team here is amazing— so supportive and genuinely invested in each dog’s progress. Over the past year, my dog has built real relationships with the trainers and is always so excited to see them! Smartypup’s program is so thoughtfully designed. It’s not just about commands—it’s about building a strong foundation in manners and confidence. I especially appreciate how they weave real-world experiences into training, helping dogs feel comfortable navigating busy city life. If you want a training program that’s as much about strengthening your bond with your dog as it is about teaching skills, Smartypup is the place to go.

I have two dogs and both have trained at Smarty Pup from Puppy 1-3. This was the best thing I did for them and myself. Smarty taught them manners, helped them socialize, and gave them a huge boost in confidence. It helped me connect better with my dogs and understand how to give them structure— it also made training fun. The coaches here have so much experience and have heard and seen a bunch of strange dog behaviors. One of my favorite parts of class is when they weave in stories that identify a dog behavior and explain why the dog is doing what it’s doing. It really helps understand the context, and shows your role in the training. The class sizes are small, which give you plenty of space to move and get feedback from the trainers. At the end of each class there is a recap email with skills to practice and prepare for next class. Compared to other training classes (yes I’ve tried others), Smarty had a nice build on foundations that didn’t feel overwhelming or unachievable. Classes I’ve taken at smarty: Puppy Social - time to meet and socialize with other puppies. This is a great community event to meet people and the trainers. SmartyPup! Is amazing!!! Two of my dogs attended classes, and my youngest puppy, Skye, attended their Day Camp (I call it pre-school); this was the best decision I made for my ten-week-old puppy! Skye was my second puppy, and I KNEW I needed her in their day camp for all the early development training I could never give her. My first pup, Luna, was too old for day camp, so if you have a young puppy under 13 weeks old, I highly recommend enrolling your puppy in their Puppy Day Camp! They make camp fun while keeping them safe, helping them learn how to play with other pups, and much more! Social skills, obedience, and problem-solving exercises help to make your pup the best he can be. When she left day camp, I enrolled her in Puppy 1, 2, and 3 classes because the consistency of what she learned in day camp was essential to her continued growth (and mine!). I have the highest accolades for the staff: day camp and all trainers are amazing! Skye just graduated from Puppy 3, and I'm so proud of her! I want more puppies to experience a little piece of heaven on earth at SmartyPup. I am a true believer in all they do: safety, positive reinforcement, problem-solving, exposure to everyday distractions, and so much more to help them and you in their journey of development.
