If I could award SoCal Dog Training more than five stars, I certainly would. Vladae is truly exceptional at what he does, and his wife, Antonina, brings a level of warmth and professionalism that is equally commendable. After initially enrolling in a training class, it became clear that my puppy would benefit more from a customized, intensive program. Recognizing this, Vladae thoughtfully recommended transitioning to their boot camp program—a decision that ultimately exceeded all my expectations. From the outset, the professionalism, expertise, and genuine care shown by both Vladae and Antonina were remarkable. Vladae’s training methodology is grounded in structure, consistency, and clear communication. His approach goes beyond basic obedience; he emphasizes building a balanced, confident, and respectful relationship between dog and owner. By the end of the program, the transformation in my dog’s behavior was significant. She returned home noticeably more focused, responsive, and calm. Longstanding challenges such as leash reactivity, poor recall, and general disobedience had improved dramatically. More importantly, I felt empowered as an owner, equipped with the tools, knowledge, and guidance necessary to sustain and build upon that progress. Vladae’s training is firm yet compassionate, informed by a deep understanding of canine psychology. Antonina was a pleasure to work with throughout the process—always organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in our success. Their commitment to transparency was evident through frequent updates and detailed media, keeping me informed and engaged throughout my dog’s stay. Wonderful Trainer! At first, you could get lost with some of the training terminology, But once you get to know Vlade and don’t forget his lovely wife Antonia,(she does all the scheduling & keeps Vlade trained☺️) It becomes so easy. Vlade Has a structure like no other. If you get to know the commands, you are going to be one happy dog owner. AGeeGADE! Sit, staaaay, dowwwn, place, awwwwt, name come, name let’s go. Because of Vlade My dog will not go into the street without me. (In a safe area “of course” I tested this. I threw my dog toy out into the street, She got to the edge, stopped, and sat. I did not even have to say anything. She knew what to do. She knew not to go into the Street. Be patient with him and yourself, Trust the process, You’re gonna be happy. Not only are you gonna be happy, Your family will have a new family You can trust and depend on any anytime you need help. Vlade Even took the time To help my daughter understand the commands And showed her what to do. We take our dog everywhere with us And everyone says your dog is so well behaved. Before meeting Vlade, I had spent thousands and thousands of dollars on training my two dogs, from private sessions to group or even board and train, with some results BUT not comparable to Vlade’s training AT ALL. The dog wizard really suits him. His professionalism, calm manner, knowledge, method and overall understanding of both dog and human psychology, you could never find ANYONE better that him. His two weeks boot camp worth every penny. It’s once a life time training FOREVER, off leash, everywhere, with a peace of mind that your dog(s) is going to be on his/her best behavior ever, even when Kathy or Kathy’s mother-in-law are around. You just have to believe in the process. 😊

I am so glad Vladae was recommended to me! He is a fantastic dog trainer, and also amazing for teaching people how to train their own dog. My new young dog (Sage) was an unexpected stray who followed my old dog home. She's probably around 10-11 months old, and was kind of half feral. She's friendly, but also overly timid and anxious. She was carrying around a lot of stress and over-excitement, which I was not sure how to deal with; she would also get more and more hyper with too much playtime or activity. I knew I needed help. Before we found Vladae (about 2 months ago), she was literally climbing the walls, running through doors (even opening them herself!), and jumping all over the furniture & people; extremely noise reactive and nervous around strangers & in any new situations. Barking, howling, crying... It was a lot. And I had people telling me it might take a year(!!) for her to calm down, or that she'd need hours and hours of running to burn off her energy. I did not want to deal that kind of over-active/hyper nervousness for that long. And I think it's kinder to the dog to learn to relax, instead of feeling on edge and having explosive energy all the time. She does not need to run for hours, she barely likes running for 15 minutes; what she needed was Vladae's structure and to be taught how to calm down, with a proper balance of play, training and resting time alone. Vladae's training philosophy and how he explained it to me, and the exercises he has us do (really, the whole lifestyle approach to interacting with her) helped so much to get Sage to calm down and pay attention. Also I am able to exercise her and let her play safely, for bonding and without fear of her running away. She used to take off with the slightest noise outside, but not anymore. She understands when we're working/training and when we're playing. We've also worked a lot on her nervousness and anxiety. Getting her to relax happened much faster than I thought, with Vladae. She's so much happier when she's calm, and learning happens faster when they know how to relax. We are working towards being completely off-leash, in high distraction areas, but I'm not worried she's going to take off anymore, even if it's noisy outside. Vladae responds quickly and informatively to all my texts & questions. If you do what he says, training is greatly rewarding for the human and the dog, and it has incredible results that will set Sage up for life, so she can go anywhere with me and be a good citizen. I wish I had found Vladae years ago, for my old dog -- he was easier than Sage (and different temperament), but I think his life could have been even better with Vladae's training. If you want a highly trained dog that is happy to be with you and work with you, I would not hesitate to give Vladae a call.

It was a challenge to find a next level trainer to work with or Zara on her long road to being a service dog...Vlade came to the rescue and knew exactly what we needed to do for her unique personality. Zara was nervous and unsure about "men". Vlade turned that around and now she's calm, happy and loves men (especially Vlade). I appreciate how Vlade incorporated my disabled daughter into the training... she's now Vlades biggest fan ❤️. We're very pleased.
