Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center provides effective and affordable canine services to Tucson and surrounding areas. We are committed to helping you build and maintain a balanced, enjoyable relationship with your dog. Sol Dog Lodge is proud to be a kennel where your dog will receive individualized care and attention. We are different and do not provide a “free for all,” we set expectations for the dogs in our care, and ask for and reward your dog for the same good manners you would expect at home. Sol Dog Lodge boarding, and training services will challenge your dog both mentally and physically, so they leave balanced, tired and having practiced important skills.

When will you planning on opening this new facility?

I'm so glad you asked! The new campus will be opening in February 2025. The first step is to move the grooming and training services from the current Thornydale location. Then, we should have the kennels installed by the first part of March. Our plans are to be up and running by April.

We adopted a 4 y/o rescue female Pit Mix from PACC last month. Our vet recommends aggression training and recommended Soul Dog. We are retired on a fixed income. What are your rates and would she board there or we bring her in for each session?

Is this a live-in lodge?

Sol Dog Lodge provide boarding for dogs, personalized training and doggie day camp.

My puppy went for 4 days of training I would drop him off at 8 and pick him up at 430. But this was decided after an evaluation by the trainer. The do do boarding and also dog day care. I was extremely pleased and amazed at the difference in my dog after training.

Yes, Sol Dog's fees are on the higher end, but I firmly believe that in this case you absolutely get what you pay for. Yes, Sol Dog's fees are on the higher end, but I firmly believe that in this case you absolutely get what you pay for. If you want 100% peace of mind while your dog is boarded, Sol Dog Lodge is the way to go. I know that she is loved and cared for by professionals who treat all the pups like family. It's much more than a job for the staff; they totally get dogs! I think perhaps some may have been a dog in a past life. 😂😂 That's how well they understand dogs. Their communication is terrific and the organization and thoughtful planning of the facility is superb! I picked my dog up today, and she is already missing her friends on staff and her new barking buddies. Thanks again, Sol Dog Lodge, for providing a fun vacation for our girl while we had our vacation.

We are so impressed with this facility! We started out by going on a tour and loved what we saw. Today we dropped our dog Wilbur off for a practice day and since then we have received a text and pictures of him playing with other dogs and having a fabulous time. We have found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly and they all seem to have so much love for dogs. We highly recommend Sol Dog Lodge!

Sol Dog took amazing care of our boy Onyx during our vacation! We unexpected adopted Onyx after we found him abandoned on the street in our neighborhood. We were worried about leaving him during this trip we had already planned, but Sol Dog was just what we needed. They emailed/chatted with us several times beforehand to answer any questions or address any concerns, scheduled a consultation and site visit before our trip, texted us pictures daily, and shared his experience throughout. He also received some training sessions from Kim during his stay, and we received a report at the end. We were almost afraid he wouldn’t want to come home! We are so grateful for this location, their staff, and the facilities. We look forward to boarding with them again.

Fantastic experience! I was looking for some direction for my 11month old puppy, basic training. Kim did an exceptional job with Kali, so much so every time I started to the garage Kali was ready to go back to “school”. I will definitely use Sol Dog Lodge on the future.
