When will you planning on opening this new facility?
I'm so glad you asked! The new campus will be opening in February 2025. The first step is to move the grooming and training services from the current Thornydale location. Then, we should have the kennels installed by the first part of March. Our plans are to be up and running by April.

We adopted a 4 y/o rescue female Pit Mix from PACC last month. Our vet recommends aggression training and recommended Soul Dog. We are retired on a fixed income. What are your rates and would she board there or we bring her in for each session?
How much is cost for basic obedience classes in group. I have an 18 month old labradoodle

My puppy went for 4 days of training I would drop him off at 8 and pick him up at 430. But this was decided after an evaluation by the trainer. The do do boarding and also dog day care. I was extremely pleased and amazed at the difference in my dog after training.

We have never had xoloscuintlis, unfortunately. And we don't anticipating getting any. That of course could change!

I adopted Bolt from PACC. This guy was a really hard start when I adopted him with the Help of Sol Dog with Katherine Fisker and his sponsor from Top Dog Gail he has turn out be be a loving and great part to my family and we all love this crazy little man! He passed to the Rainbow bridge this past March from a active Brain deterioration. From his MRI we found that he had a major birth defect that took his young life at 4years of age. Even with all of his issue he was able to learn from Katherine’s help with him and training me to have a great life for his remaining 2yrs out of PACC.

It's 102°F outside and I'm sitting in the Marana Home Depot parking lot behind a Sol Dog Lodge van. A staff member wearing the Sol Dog Lodge t-shirt took a large dog that looked like a pit mix out of the van and proceeded to walk him/her around on the asphalt parking lot at 3 PM. I could clearly see the dog lifting it's paws awkwardly as if it were in pain. Some other lady was walking near them in the parking lot with a German shepherd with a green muzzle on, who was also lifting his/her legs frantically and trying to lay down. Idk, just seems like they should have shoes on. Or walk them somewhere else. "For all dogs and the people who love them" ...

Requested more than the usual number of Giardia vaccine records. They wanted dogs to be jabbed twice a year. My vet has never mentioned this being needed, so I'll go somewhere else.

Moving away from Tucson for a few years, Sol Dog is one of the reasons I'm glad to be back! Having not being able to travel for the years we were gone because my dogs are labeled because of the breed they are (both bull mixes) being welcomed back after years away put a smile in my heart. I wouldn't trust any other boarding spot with my two fur babies, they have been coming to Sol since they were young. Rachel and her staff are the true meaning of being ALL breed dog lovers. The knowledge and care they provide has helped my husband and I become a happy pack with our pups!
