Solid Foundation Dog Training

My dog recently attended Miah's 2 week board and train program. I was very anxious and hesitant as I was unsure how my dog would respond to this new situation. Miah answered all of my questions and reassured me that I could reach out, but that she would treat my dog as one of her own. Miah has a beautiful property that allows a perfect space for training and your dog to be in a quiet area. Miah would send me videos and updates every other day to show me what they had been working on, as well as details so I knew how he was responding, and what I needed to do for the future. Once I picked him up, she provided me with paperwork that laid out everything she worked on with him, as well as what to do with these new skills he had learned. These were the same needs I had requested her to work on with him! Even with him being home for a day, I can see a big difference in his confidence. I know it will continue to grow and we will have Miah for guidance in the future! It was very hard to have my dog gone during this time, but I would 100% send him back again if he needed further training. Reaching out to Miah is the best thing you can do for you and your pup! She also offers boarding if you're ever needing someone while on vacation. I will definitely be using her when I need her for this in the future!

After my parents used Solid Foundations for their dogs, we decided to use them for our French Bulldog puppy! Phoebe learned basic commands, like sit, stay, place & down, but also got to learn some cool tricks! She was taught "Reach for the sky!" & loves to do that trick still today! She is our best behaved dog, thanks to Miah! I have recommended Miah to several people. She makes training convenient, helps you achieve your goals with your dogs at a reasonable price, gives feedback to you as the owner on how to get the best results, & is friendly! If we end up with anymore dogs I will be bringing them back to Solid Foundations!

We thought we had dogs figured out…until we rescued our Oakley. Different breed, so full of energy…we were determined to keep him but didn’t know how. After seeing others have a positive experience, we contacted Miah. (BONUS, she’s local!!) She was patient, so kind and extremely helpful! We learned a lot in our 5 week home course, but were still struggling with some bad habits. We also completed a 1 week board and train and life at home is much better and we are continuing to put in the work! Would recommend Miah with Solid Foundation over and over again!!

We had such a great experience with Miah! She took in our crazy lab puppies to learn their manners and we were amazed by their progress in just two weeks. My favorite thing about Solid Foundation is that it felt personal. We knew our dogs were in loving hands, in a home environment, and getting quality one-on-one training. Miah is also incredible at reading your dogs cues and teaching you what to look out for. She also sent tons of video/picture updates during their stay so that we could see progress & it was always the highlight of our day! 10/10 recommend!!
