Burt & Els Cox are the co-owners of Something Els Dog School LLC, a dog school with a different approach. We will teach you how to work with your dog in a positive way with rewarding & playful games that teach your dog good manners and behaviors. The advantages of positive reinforcement dog training include improving your relationship with your dog and a dog that will listen better. In turn, your dog will become more social and have better manners both inside and outside of your home! We offer dog obedience classes in Erie, PA and the surrounding areas. Els really gave us some great tips and tricks for our new rescue Chihuahua. He didn't know how to be a dog and is now focused on the training. I liked that it was in a small group setting. I highly recommend and it was a very fair price for 6 weeks of classes.
We have brought our baby pup here and attended several classes. The changes and things we have learned here have been amazing. Els is patient and understanding and wants what's best for dog and owner. If you are trying to teach your dog I highly recommend trying els out. It's been an amazing experience.

We learned so much and understand better how effective the use of purely positive reinforcement is when training a puppy. I highly recommend Something Els Dog School - you will love it!
Els is a terrific puppy/dog trainer and has great patience with their handlers! Very positive and practical. We completed Puppy Class I with our 4 month old Golden and immediately signed up for Puppy Class II. Five stars!
