FirstBarkEls is an amazing dog and people trainer! Skipper and I learned SO much. She is patient, understanding, professional, and encouraging. It's definitely a no-judgement zone. She helped me learn how to handle Skipper's triggers and he enjoyed going to school so much I know he's going to miss it. We will be back for more sessions for sure! Thanks Els!

About Something Els Dog School LLC Positive Reinforcement Dog Training
Burt & Els Cox are the co-owners of Something Els Dog School LLC, a dog school with a different approach. We will teach you how to work with your dog in a positive way with rewarding & playful games that teach your dog good manners and behaviors. The advantages of positive reinforcement dog training include improving your relationship with your dog and a dog that will listen better. In turn, your dog will become more social and have better manners both inside and outside of your home! We offer dog obedience classes in Erie, PA and the surrounding areas. Els is a wonderful instructor! We learned so much about how to appropriately train our dogs, and our puppy definitely had a great time going to class. Would absolutely recommend Something Els to anyone!
We enrolled our year old boy to Els in hopes she could help him with his manners. We loved her class. She is fantastic with the way she teaches not only the "students" but especially the parents! We have the necessary tools to continue to train until our Misha is ready for the obedience 2 class.

Update! We graduated from Household Obedience 1&2, and Hank is becoming a better dog every day (because I am a better leader) all bc of Els and her positive training techniques. I have stopped using the “eh eh” buzzer sound with Hank and instead guide him to a positive behavior he learned in school. He and I have bonded in a way I only hoped was possible. I’m thrilled with the results! THANK YOU and we’ll see you in the next Scent work class! Hank and I just completed Intro to Scent Work and I’m sad that it’s over! My dog loved it, it strengthened our bond and gave my pup Hank more confidence. Els truly cares about dogs and her training methods made me a better leader for my pup. We are signed up for the next class and can’t wait to be back at “school!”
