Something to Bark About Dog Training

I cannot say enough amazing things about Something To Bark About, Ms. Beth, Ms. Lisa, and their entire team. My two pups — Junior, a 3year old 7-lb Yorkiepoo, and Oliver, our 4-month-old King Charles Cavalier — both came in with very real challenges, especially Junior. Junior struggled with socialization issues, aggression, and resource guarding, and it was becoming overwhelming for us at home. From the moment we walked through the door, the team made us feel understood, supported, and confident that change was possible. Throughout their training, Junior and Oliver were loved, cared for, and treated like family. The team uses real chicken for training treats, which both of our boys absolutely loved — and it made their sessions something they genuinely looked forward to. The transformation in Junior has been unbelievable. He learned how to socialize safely, manage his triggers, and trust the world around him again. Oliver also benefited from early structure and positive habits that will stay with him as he grows. What truly sets this place apart is their passion, patience, and genuine love for every dog they work with. Beth and Lisa really care about the well being of the dogs. We were skeptical about leaving our girl, whom was having issues with submission bladder. I really wanted to be able to take Cookie with me places, but every time someone approaches she would pee, and that’s even if I could get her to walk on the leash at all. Cookie came home socialized and confident, she now greets people and other dogs with a wagging tail. She is walking on a leash in public and even learned some basic commands. I’m over the moon I can now take Cookie everywhere with me. I highly recommend Something to Bark About. Beth is amazing! Thank you so very much!
