Greg is by far the best dog trainer I’ve worked with. What really sets him apart is that he doesn’t just teach commands, he teaches you how dogs think. He explains everything from a dog’s perspective and shows you how to communicate in a way they actually understand instead of expecting them to figure out what we want. I learned that it’s not about the word it’s about the energy you sent off. His knowledge of dog psychology is incredible, and he’s an excellent teacher. He explains everything thoroughly but in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. I never felt overwhelmed because he made sure we understood the “why” behind everything we were doing. One thing that really impressed me was that Greg genuinely cares about helping you succeed. While many trainers leave as soon as the hour is over, Greg stayed until we worked through the issues my dog was having. He took the extra time to coach us, answer questions, and make sure we practiced everything correctly before he left. He also completely changed the way I think about boundaries with my dog. He showed us how to clearly communicate that people—especially guests and children—have their own space, and that my dog isn’t allowed to crowd or invade that space unless invited. He taught us how to “guard” that space and consistently reinforce those boundaries so my dog understands that she doesn’t run the house. We also worked on teaching her that she can’t be on top of people while they’re sitting on the couch or constantly pushing into their personal space. If you’re looking for someone who will truly teach both you and your dog, Greg is the trainer to call. His knowledge, patience, and dedication are unmatched, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly.
