Working with Melo has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for Dakota and for myself. From day one, Melo made the whole training experience feel a lot less intimidating. He took the time to explain everything in detail and helped me understand not just what to do, but why it worked. You can tell he genuinely knows what he’s doing and truly loves working with dogs. I’ve learned so much during our training, and Dakota has truly transformed into a completely different dog. I went from feeling unsure of myself to feeling confident in handling her, and now we’re able to enjoy hikes, long drives, and everyday adventures together. I’m definitely looking forward to continuing to take Dakota to Melo and continuing to learn from him. A+ all around! The entire team is amazing, starting from Melo and all the way down the line. Zach, Janae,, and Naomi are all amazing and very knowledgeable. It is worth every penny. The best part is that they will hold you to it. A lot of trainers wont tell you like it is bc they don’t want to lose a customer. Melo is honest with you and will hold you to it and will straight out tell you that you are wasting your money if you aren’t diligent about the training. He has great psychological outlook on dog training and is great with the dogs. Archie loves him. Some trainers preach dominance, and are very physical and Melo teaches that this type of training will only teach the dog aggression and that you have to train your dog with kindness, consistency, diligence, and attention to details. We sent our male Dachshund Oscar to SOS K9’s 21 day board and train, we were initially skeptical since it is a large investment financially, but we knew something had to happen to keep Oscar home with us! Safe to stay, Melo is absolutely fantastic !!!! He transformed our dog Oscar from an uncontrollable rambunctious boy puppy, to a dog we can actually have control over and continue to train because we feel like now he actually listens! Getting one on one training sessions with Melo each week to see Oscar’s progress and learn his methods were so helpful in understanding how to properly care for, teach and keep Oscar safe. He is such a good boy now! We never knew this side of him existed and we think Melo’s skills, tips and trainings are invaluable!
