Ann is amazing!! I have a Rottweiler puppy (1.5yrs old ) who is fear reactive towards other dogs. She exhibited signs of being fearful of other dogs as a young puppy (3 months old) and when It became apparent that regular puppy classes were causing distress we were referred to Ann. She knows her stuff and has helped both my mom and I, learn how to recognize Rosy’s body language when she’s overwhelmed. She taught us how to redirect and accommodate the needs of our dog when we get into situations with other dogs. Ann made us feel at ease and supported through a very sticky spot. Her involvement with the dogs and owners extends beyond the training sessions. Highly recommended highly valuable and very effective.

I have known Ann since she had her business in Florida and used her services with many different dogs. I have to admit I was dismayed when she moved to Washington state as I have long come to rely on her expertise. Fast forward several years later and in comes Phil. Phil at the time was a 90 pound, one year old lab that needed a home. We had no intention of adding another dog to our family but circumstances warranted it. Phil is a sweet boy but we had hit so many roadblocks and were at our wits' end. We were heartbroken and were starting to believe that there was no way forward. I scheduled a zoom session with Ann who brought a sense of calm, understanding and real expertise to our situation. With Ann's guidance, we have made huge strides. Phil is happier and less stressed as are we. We are so grateful that we did not give up and had Ann in our corner. Ann gave us hope, useful yet simple tools and most importantly, a renewed bond with our sweet Phil.

I was referred to Sound Dog Connection by a vet after my labrador retriever exhibited some unsettling resource guarding of her tennis ball. Ann has given me many tools to use and taught Penelope how to become more confident in her daily activities. I now bring my other labrador, Porter, to see Ann. He LOVES the Nose work sessions.
