I can’t recommend Angie enough. When we first started working with her, my dog Thunder was very low confidence and lacked a lot of basic manners. I was nervous because he was already 6 years old, and I wasn’t sure how much progress we could realistically make. Thanks to Angie’s patience, knowledge, and guidance, Thunder is truly a different dog. His confidence has grown tremendously, and he’s now able to enjoy being in public around other dogs and people, something he really struggled with before. Watching him become more comfortable, confident, and happy has been amazing. I really appreciate everything Angie has done for my boy. Seeing Thunder gain so much confidence and be able to enjoy things that used to stress him out has meant a lot to me. Thank you for helping him become the best version of himself!

Our dog, Athena’s strong-will, and high energy ruled the house. She barked at the movement of dogs, cats, (sometimes leaves), and guests. My husband and I were too often trying to placate her. My husband, my cat, and I needed relief! I knew we had to learn clear communication, and that this would be a key building block for training. One of our goals was to teach Athena to listen better to us, rather than dogs barking two blocks away. We wanted her to live more calmly in the world, so it was vital that we were able “read” and give her the support she needed to grow. I can never express how lucky we are to have found Angie. Angie has done what no other trainer has; in just a couple of sessions, she gave us tools which helped us attune to pup, and pup to us. Because Athena frequently understands our expectations, she wants to fulfill them. Most importantly, we’re more connected. We’ve learned how to help her calm herself. Athena has become a better mannered and increasingly confident dog. With all the dog trainers we’ve had Angie is a world apart; competent, inventive, and generous in her teaching methods. We will always be grateful for what she has brought to our lives; a knowledgeable path that I have integrated, to bring peace to the house, as well as tools to remind us how.

I am so glad I contacted Angie and took her "Just the Facts Jack" program! We adopted a two-year-old Husky/Shepherd mix who overreacted to other dogs and was dragging me on our walks. The final straw was when she got too excited, went after another dog, and pulled me into a nosedive on a gravel road. I reached out to Angie shortly after adopting Peanut, a two year old pitty. Peanut was so friendly and loving, but had trouble listening, would get over excited, had no idea how to walk on a leash, and was nose punching my toddler. We knew we needed to address these behaviors right away and Angie was the answer. Angie helped Peanut and I make incredible progress. Angie is patient and thoughtful. She has a deep understanding of canine behavior and breed traits. Through a hybrid in person and virtual program she taught me to give clear, consistent commands, and provided feedback and next steps in between training sessions. Every command and training method Angie recommended was personalized to fit our family, our home, and our wiggly little Peanut. She kept us on track with our training and celebrated our progress with every update. Peanut slowly became a calmer, more respectful member of our family. She now has multiple commands, no longer nose punches my toddler, is more focused and less excitable. She is even walking on loose leash! At the end of our program I now have access to a huge video library of me training Peanut with Angie's voice teaching me exactly what to do. Angie also made sure Peanut and I will continue to make progress by giving me more training videos and offering to check in even after our program is over. I am so grateful to have found Angie. She helped us turn our rescue pitty into a respectful member of our family. I highly recommend Angie to anyone who is looking for personalized, positive obedience training!

We feel so fortunate that we found Angie. Our Belgian Malinois, Cadie, has been a very anxious dog from the beginning and we were struggling to find a trainer that understood the breed and how to help us. We are still a work in progress, but Cadie has come so far in learning how to check in with us and get to a calmer state faster. Angie has a knack for giving small instructions that get right to the current struggle and help you understand what to work on. And, because it is great for a dog to have a job to work on, we've also been going through the nosework classes. There is no doubt that Cadie loves her interactions with Angie, her work in class, and we love feeling confident in our ability to help her be the great dog we know she is.
