I boarded my 9 year old lab/pit mix Melon for a week with Paul and he took exceptional care of her - even working with her on some of her dog reactivity issues. Within one week she was following new commands and listening to me, even when a cat showed up (her biggest trigger). Paul also sent me lots of high quality pictures and videos of Melon while she was there, and she seemed to be loving it! I’ll definitely be boarding her there again.

Mr. Paul is the best! He was loving and thorough with my unruly and hard-to-handle hound dog, Hank. My husband and I are very pleased with the progress that Hank made during his training, and we would highly recommend SCTDBT. We are practicing our "parenting skills" here at home and finding success regularly. We are pleased with Hank's response to the basic commands he learned while at training school. This just makes life easier and more enjoyable for our family. Mr. Paul trained Hank with the SpotOn Collar, and Hank is responding well to his boundaries here at home. This was our biggest challenge! Paul graciously came over to help us practice appropriately with Hank. We brought our lovely little chihuahua Captain Sandy to Paul for training, and the difference is amazing. We never really took the time to train Sandy properly and it was getting out of hand, heading into choppy waters. After being with Paul she’s a new Captain. We can walk her and take her places…she just follows right along side us. She waits at the door, comes to attention when prompted, and just all around well behaved chihuahua. Paul shared her progress along her training journey and also trained us to keep the ship on course. Highly recommend! Having a well trained obedient chihuahua is such a flex, gotta deflate that mean chihuahua stigma. Seriously though it’s night and day, we are very very grateful. Did not think it would stick but she’s totally doing great now. Thanks Paul!

We cannot say enough good things about Paul! Our dog Moose had a serious habit of running away from home, and we were at our wit’s end. Paul stepped in and completely transformed Moose’s behavior. He went above and beyond—not just in training, but in the care, patience, and attention he gave to our boy. Paul treated Moose like his own, and it showed. He even threw Moose a birthday party while he was staying on his property for training—talk about going the extra mile! Our expectations were high, and Paul exceeded every single one. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares and delivers real results, Paul is your guy. Thank you for everything!

Paul works wonders!! Can’t recommend this place enough!! We had our 1.5 yo goldendoodle, Leroy, board there for the 4 week stay and train program! Our main things we told Paul we wanted to work on was leash training and RECALL (this was a big one) because we try to take Leroy anywhere and everywhere we can! Before training, walks were not as relaxing as we would’ve liked them to be. If Leroy saw another dog or dare I say the “S” word or “C” word, he would pull, whimper, whine and just act like he forgot how to walk, until the object of interest was out of site! But now walks are more enjoyable for the both of us. No more nonsense. Not only does Leroy mind a lot better, but we are able to take him more places and keep him safer while out and about because of his training! He has so much more confidence in himself that allows him and us to enjoy our time together a lot more because we can trust him! And I truly think it’s made our relationship with him a lot stronger! His recall is also 1000 times better! He's so content and just happy to be with us and around his people, even when we release him, he’d rather stick around us and wait for our next move! Paul was so great to work with as well! He truly loves working with all the dogs that come through his program, no matter how big or small. While Leroy was training with him, Paul made sure to send us updates and pictures through out the stay to put our mind at ease. Sometimes even videos! Those were my favorite because you could really see Paul’s commitment to our sweet Leroy, and Leroy was always so happy to please and do the right thing for Paul! Now, my husband and I get the same fulfillment and happy stares from our sweet pup because he knows he’s making us happy and that makes him happy! We still have questions that we will text Paul when it comes to continuing Leroy’s training, and he is always more than happy to reply and help! This program is for the remainder of the dogs life, so at the end of the day, your not just written off as another customer! The property is also so beautiful and very well kept! Clean as could be! I did not once feel regret for leaving our boy behind for so long! We knew he would be happy and very well taken care of! We recommend Paul and his program 110% and plan to use him for boarding when we aren’t able to take Leroy with us and will for sure use him for dogs in the future. We are kicking ourselves that we waited so long to enroll Leroy in training, but it worked out for the best and we wouldn’t change a thing! THANK YOU PAUL!!
