What time & days for training starts,, & how much you charge for 3 year old Maltese Poodle mixed & adopted rescure dog
Hi, with older dogs, I usually come to you for private lessons. The cost would depend on how much training your dog would need. I offer free consultations so I can meet the dog and determine the best training plan for him/her. There is no obligation to do any training with me. It just wouldn't be fair for me to say the dog needs xxx amount of training without actually meeting them first. How much is it for training ? Will they give up on a dog
Hi Debbie, the cost of training depends on your dog's needs. I do free consultations to identify what training your pup needs and then come up with a training plan. I would not give up on a dog. If I didn't feel I was a good fit to train your dog, I would be honest with you.

We had an incredible experience working with Patti and Sandy in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program. We learned so much, and our big puppy, Millie, made amazing progress throughout the course. We can’t recommend them enough! The small class sizes were perfect for us. We’re so excited to have already signed Millie up for the Level 1 Obedience Class and can’t wait to continue watching her grow into a calm and obedient pup.

We had such an amazing experience taking the puppy class. Both Sandy and Patti were super helpful and accommodating. It was a very welcoming environment and we learned plenty of new skills. Paul can’t wait to go back for another class :)

Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to get some obedience/behavioral training with your dog! My dog Sinatra finished his level 1 Dog Obedience class and did an amazing job thanks to Patti. She’s an excellent trainer and teaches her clients in a way that is very easy to grasp and understand (for the dogs too!) Sandy is also an excellent trainer that will give you the right tools, resources, and/or class recommendations based on your goals for your dog.

My dog, Josie, and I have had the best experience working with Patti at Southcoast Dog Training for both the Puppy and Level 1 obedience classes! Patti does a thorough job explaining commands step-by-step, as well as providing the rationale and reasoning behind every training exercise. She truly works one-on-one with each owner and dog to deliver individualized instruction specific to their needs and abilities. Patti is always so patient with answering my many questions and following up on our "homework". By working with Patti, our owner-pet relationship has grown stronger and more trusting. We look forward to taking more classes at Southcoast Dog Training in the future!
