What time & days for training starts,, & how much you charge for 3 year old Maltese Poodle mixed & adopted rescure dog
Hi, with older dogs, I usually come to you for private lessons. The cost would depend on how much training your dog would need. I offer free consultations so I can meet the dog and determine the best training plan for him/her. There is no obligation to do any training with me. It just wouldn't be fair for me to say the dog needs xxx amount of training without actually meeting them first. How much is it for training ? Will they give up on a dog
Hi Debbie, the cost of training depends on your dog's needs. I do free consultations to identify what training your pup needs and then come up with a training plan. I would not give up on a dog. If I didn't feel I was a good fit to train your dog, I would be honest with you.

Not only was my dog trained, but I was also trained on how to be a good owner and trainer for my pup. Sandy was very patient with me just as much as she was with my puppy. She would give me tips on the side during class knowing I would be adding in specific training tasks at home for my puppy and showing me what would work best for our life because I on my own would be working on teaching him certain small psychiatric service animal tasks to help with my brain trauma. This being said although you are in a group setting she still personalized it to my learning abilities and the specific things our situation at home called for. And when my anxieties are high you can count on Sandy’s personality and down to earth humor to level me out again so I can focus and proceed. It’s hard at times for someone like me but I was very appreciative to sandy. And I must give a HUGE thanks to Amanda and Ryker!

Sandy is awesome!! We loved her style of instruction, which made it easy to understand and follow through with training outside of class. I highly recommend bringing your puppy or dog of any age to Sandy. They will leave class a different dog!

Sandy also gives you the tools and tips on how to train your dog yourself and get obedience, which is awesome.

We went there with our new rescue, Tank, being very dog aggressive, not listening to most commands, and completely unable to be in the presence of other dogs. After four very detailed and in depth lessons we have so much hope and faith in his ability to be the wonderful dog he's meant to be. He now can be around other dogs, follow most commands, and finally be calm and happy! He's a completely different dog in the best of ways. I cannot recommend her highly enough! :D

Sandy is such a knowledgeable and patient teacher. Our two pups enjoyed her puppy class and learned so much while socializing with other pups and people. And we, as experienced dog owners learned a great deal, too! So glad we took the puppy class, and will be taking our adult adopted dog and new pup as well! Highly recommend her services!
