This has been an incredible experience for my fur missile that no other trainer could help me. But David Jones kept with her and never gave up. He kenneled her for brief periods between training her which made a huge difference as well. His techniques are truly the ones that work!!! I had the hardest trainable dog fully trained and socialized to be out in public. We walk everywhere now . Before I couldn’t do that . I’m so very grateful. His experience is extremely valuable and if you want the perfect dog/family member call him today. Worth every penny and every moment I had to be separated from her. Now I have the perfect dog. Souther Southern K-9 Training Solutions LLC I have been training Macie Mae my 9 month old Jack Russell Terrier with David Bruce Jones, owner of Southern K-9 Solutions for the past couple of months. Macie is doing excellent in her training and she is 9 months old now. Because Macie Mae is now certified with the federal government as a medical dog because of her skills at knowing when my husband Lloyd’s blood sugar is too low or too high and also will run to comfort anyone in distress as she has proven she is capable of doing. We felt like she needed training in obedience because she has and will visit patients in hospitals. Macie loves children and she is very gentle with them. David Bruce Jones has 35 years of training dogs. He has trained police dogs and military dogs as well as domesticated dogs. In the past couple of months Macie has mastered taking a seat (sitting), laying down on command. She stays in position when sitting or laying and she doesn’t move until I tell her to come. Because of Lloyd’s health and my work schedule David has worked with me and helped me by being flexible. Today was a real test. Macie went to training and we training in David’s front yard which is directly on Hwy. 181 in Fairhope. We went through her learned commands and she did great. Then David told me to let go of her leash and I immediately ask him if he had lost his mind? He smiled and said drop it and she will not run. Well she did not!!! She did all her commands and stayed while I walked away from her at least 25 to 30 feet and walked in a complete circle. She stood up a couple of times and I told her to take a seat and lay down then stay and she did. At the end of our session I told her to lay down and stay and David started talking to me about projects he had going on in his house and such. For 15 minutes she did not move. David said it was a test. She passed!! This week I will train her to stay beside me as I walk with no stepping out of line with me, dropping the leash and having her to continue walking beside me. Turning to the left and right when I make those turns while staying by my side. Going backward and forward with my steps. Then stopping, taking a seat and laying down. I could not be more thrilled.
