Southern Star Dog Training

We got our GSD, Ranger, when he was about 10 months old. He was very timid around males and wild with me. As soon as we could get him in training we did! We felt comfortable going with Braylee and Maggie because they were very informative and no pressure. We did the three week training with boarding. We loved that at the end of each week they showed us what they worked on with him and showed us how to enforce the training ourselves. We got to take him home over the weekend and continue working with him before dropping off for the next week of training. This allowed us to feel involved and get better with our way of handling and interacting with Ranger. Within that time Ranger was able to be off leash and cooperative, even with distractions. Afterwards, Ranger unexpectedly started having some issues at home and they came to our house and helped us work it out! Since, Ranger is more his spunky and goofy self while still being a certified good boy. Maggie and Braylee show so much love to our Ranger. We will definitely continue to board and groom with Southern Star! We have also enjoyed their free group training classes. It’s starting to feel like a small community. We can’t thank Braylee and Maggie enough!

Braylee and Maggie are absolutely amazing trainers. They had our Lola in a 3 week boarding training program and the results changed all of our lives. Lola is now such a joy and very well behaved. We also love how she worked with us so we could continue her training at home. Lola will now be staying with them whenever go away. We put our full trust in them and they didn’t disappoint!!! We will also be sending Lola back for some specialty training ♥️

Kilo and I just completed our private training lessons at Southern Star Dog Training, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. These two ladies are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and patient, and they gave us the tools and confidence we needed to better understand each other. Thanks to them, Kilo and I are leaving with a stronger bond, a clearer mindset, and the skills to handle whatever challenges come our way. I’m so grateful for their guidance and dedication. We’re excited to keep building on what we’ve learned and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish next! 🐾❤️
