We’ve loved having your fur babies come through Southern Tails over the years—and seeing two of them go on to become commercial stars makes the memories even more fun! Hi Cheryl, What wonderful memories your review brings back! You and your dogs have been such a special part of Southern Tails for so many years. I will never forget Franklin—(no one that knew him could ever forget him) he had that quiet charisma that could draw an entire room to him without even trying. And watching you work with Franklin and Joplin together in our acting classes was always amazing. Somehow you made handling two dogs look easy. Remember when you taught them to both roll over at the same time....When they caught the timing right-the whole class would burst into cheers! They gave us so many great memories, including the "Summer Concert" video (still on Youtube) and Twas the Night Before Christmas play that will always be part of Southern Tails history. And now, of course, there are Zoey, Tupelo, and Bocelli continuing the tradition! Bocelli has even followed in their footsteps with two commercials already under his belt. I especially love what you said about the bond that training builds between a person and their dog. After all these years and all these amazing dogs, you know how deep that bond can be. Hi Nell, Your review brings back so many memories of the years you and your dogs have been part of Southern Tails. From Jamie, who will always be remembered as the warm laid back girl who always made anyone near her feel good, to all the years you and Sorcha have spent learning and having fun with us, it has been wonderful having you as part of our school family. Sorcha has done it all—from obedience and CGC to acting classes and becoming quite the experienced advertising star! I've lost count of how many film ad's she's been in. We’ve loved watching the two of you work together through the years. What you said about positive training building confidence and making us better trainers means so much to me, because that has always been at the heart of what we teach. Hi Marybeth, We have shared a lot of dogs, classes and wonderful memories through the years! It has been such a pleasure having you and your dogs as part of Southern Tails—from obedience, CGC and acting classes. And then there’s Cletus. He has been coming to Southern Tails since he was a pup, and he truly is one of those one-in-a-million dogs. Whether he’s charming everyone at your Pro-PT practice working on a Lowe’s shoot, appearing in a beautiful Karastan campaign, or simply figuring out exactly how to charm someone into giving him another cookie, that personality is all Cletus! We may have helped train him, but we certainly can’t take credit for that charisma. I especially love what you said about your dogs needing both manners and personality. That says so much about what we believe training should be. We never want to train the personality out of a dog—we want to give dogs and their humans the communication and skills that allow that personality to shine.
