Southpaw Dog Academy & Boarding

As a former veterinary technician, my standards are extremely high when it comes to boarding services. SouthPaw met all my expectations plus more! They are very thorough and attentive in getting information for each animal to ensure their stay is as positive as can be. Probably my favorite thing about the facility is the amount of activity they allow. This is not like your traditional boarding facility where they spend a majority of their time in a kennel. The owners are experienced in training and behavior, allowing the dogs to co-mingle and interact with each other safely in one of their spacious outdoor doggy playgrounds or temperature controlled building. We take comfort in knowing our pets are in a well ran, safe, and organized facility while we are away! 5 Stars for this place! We will be back!

Southpaw exceeded my expectations for my Lainey’s obedience training. Lainey was 1.5 years old when she started training and is a goldendoodle-so she can be extremely energetic. She was there for 2 months and not only received exceptional training, but got nothing short of princess treatment. She was well socialized and taken care of, just as if she was on of Ben’s personal dogs. I was always informed and updated on her progress. In the future I will use Southpaw for boarding and daycare, and if I get another dog-they will go through training at Southpaw. Lainey is in the process of becoming a therapy dog and I feel that the training and socialization she received at southpaw has set her up for success. She completed her obedience training in March and both Ben and Nani have been available to answer any other questions I have or give further recommendations. Lainey was a great dog to begin with, but after training she is so much more enjoyable and can be trusted around little kids and elderly which was a concern of mine I had prior to training. Southpaw allowed me to bring home the most perfect dog and I am forever grateful for Ben and Nani! 💕
