Southpaw K9

We can't recommend Southpaw K9 enough !! - LOVE THEM !! My wife and I were in San Marcos this past weekend for our daughter's Master's graduation and boarded our 4month old Mini Bernedoodle puppy, Lincoln, with Southpaw K9 over the weekend. First nights he'd ever spent away from us, and honestly we were more worked up about it than he was. Amy texted me first thing Saturday morning with pictures and a real update before I ever had to ask. He'd been on a walk, he ate really well, and he was happy. She told me he had a lot to say in his apartment (thats what they call their Kennels) that first night before he settled down and slept straight through. I got updates like that the whole weekend. The part I appreciated most is that they paid attention to who he actually is. Lincoln is young and still unsure about other dogs, so instead of putting him out with the group they kept him in the puppy kennel up by the house where there's less noise and activity and he thrived ! Lincoln also got groomed while he was there (Velvet Paux was onsite!) . I was nervous a bad first grooming would create problems for us down the road, and Ryan just told me he'd make sure it didn't happen. It didn't. Lincoln came home looking fantastic and we got a report card on how he did. Finally, we also got back into town earlier than planned and asked if we could grab him ahead of schedule. No hesitation, no hassle. Lincoln came home happy, tired, well fed, and completely himself!! Again, we can't recommend Southpaw K9/Ryan and Amy enough ! They were just amazing to work with, and their facility/Campus is AMAZING!!! Super excited we found a place for our puppy to grow up going to !

Southpaw K9 is stunning first of all!! Ryan and Amy have given their all to this facility and it shows. I love being able to book a boarding appointment online for my dog with ease. I can barely get into their driveway without him wanting to jump out of the car. He’s so happy there and that’s such a good feeling to be able to leave him knowing this. They truly care about your animals here. Our dog was trained here by Ryan and it made all the difference. Highly recommend their training services as well. Another thing that I love is that they have a fantastic groomer on location. I always pick my baby up and he’s squeaky clean and smells amazing!!! Thank you Southpaw for providing the BEST dog training, boarding and grooming services around! Henry thanks you too! 😊
