I can’t recommend Maureen highly enough! I have a 7 month old Doberman (my first working dog) who will probably outweigh me pretty soon and I was worried about being able to confidently control her once that day came... So I was absolutely thrilled to find a confident, female dog trainer with a killer attitude! My pup went to Maureen for a 2 week board and train — she really worked with my limited schedule to fit my girl in as soon as she could. She sent constant photo/video updates, collar and leash recommendations, toy recommendations, even a beautiful professional photo! When I picked up my girl, she was freshly bathed, her nails were clipped and her bedding had even been washed. Not only did Maureen go above and beyond taking care of my baby and keeping me informed, but she truly is an excellent trainer who will love your dog. My girl definitely learned lots and gets compliments for her manners now all the time! You will not regret sending your furry friends to Spirited K9.

Mo is a wonderful trainer! We rescued Kala, part lab and part praneese at 6 weeks old after she was found in a ditch. We have trained our dobermans in the past but nothing prepared us for this little one. We couldn't even walk her as she pulled so hard on the leash she almost pulled us to the ground. She would jump, steal food, counter surf and not take any direction. At 9 months old we signed her up for Mo's train and board program. When we visited Kala after 3 days there was no pulling the leash and Mo had her heeling, sit down and stay. Who was this puppy? At the end of the program she does all of her leash work very well. We also had a issue with Kala bolting out the door before us and Mo worked with us on how to stop that. Not only does Mo love dogs but really helps you to communicate with your dog. She even takes the dogs on outings to teach them manners around other people. We got back a wonderful dog who we continue to work with daily and we are so proud of her! I know it might seem like a big investment but you will have a well mannered companion for life. We are so grateful to Mo and her staff! ((Kala Sends kisses!)

Thank you Mo for taking Willow, our 9 month old, 70 lb loveable Golden Retriever who never met a person she didn't gleefully jump on, to a loveable member of our family with dog manners! Your training focused on her for basic commands. You also provided guidence for us so that we could reinforce that training once Willow was home. What a difference. I would recommend your services to anyone interested in dog obedience.
