Spot & Co

Sue has an outstanding operation here. I've now taken two generations of dogs to classes here. They do a wonderful job not only showing you training techniques for your dog, they also make you a better dog parent. In our last round of classes my dog got sick and missed the last two classes, but rather than just miss out completely, Sue rescheduled us for another class later. I recommend Spot & Co to anyone who is looking to get their puppy on the right path with training.

The best dog training place I have found in the area! The reasons why Spot and Co. is better then all other dog training facilities that I have seen: •There are two instructors for every class and they handle situations well. The benefit of this can be seen when you think of a puppy class and a single owner and their rambunctious puppy. The puppy has a very reasonable accident in class. In other dog classes the owner would be responsible for cleaning this accident while maintaining control of their rambunctious puppy and still trying to listen to the instructor and learn. At Spot and Co. the assistant instructor is immediately at your side, cleaning the accident, and telling you how normal this is. The second instructor cleaning the accident allows the owner to keep learning from the main instructor without the main instructor having to stop the class for every incident. •The main instructor uses a mic. I do not know why every dog training facility doesn’t have a mic! Dogs make noises and the facilities are always warehouse type buildings. •They seem to have everything you would ever need right there! They have different training aids such as gentle leaders and thunder shirts in a variety of sizes that they will let you try out while comforting your dog with a Kong full of peanut butter. If you like the training aid you can buy it for the same price you would pay on Amazon. At the beginning of every class they also hand out treat bags to anyone that needs them and in the middle of every class there is a water break with a bowl of water provided to every dog. •The previous points are measurable, what is immeasurable that I truly love about Spot and Co. is how much they love and enjoy all dogs. Trust me, my dog is sometimes difficult to love and they have always been understanding, caring, and helpful to her.
