Does this training service use ecollars or prong collars?
Hi Jim we use multiple tools in training including toys and treats along with gentle methods utilizing the ecollar but on very low levels that do not hurt the dog and is not used to punish the dog at all. Everything is done through motivation so the behaviors are natural and offered.

Very professional, comprehensive, and effective training. Everyone we engaged with was clearly experienced and warm. We loved getting daily updates while we were away, and our puppy always looked very very happy. She came back to us with measurable improvements walking on a leash, redirecting unwanted behaviors, and ‘placing’. Now it’s up to us to keep up on training!

He is NOT a robot, and still has some learning, but the way he picked things up is phenomenal. We are so grateful for this training, our house is much less stressed and is feeling more love for Pickles now that he understands the rules much better :) he still gets to be an energetic dog, but plays by the rules and learns more every day.

My dog went for a week of overnight training. Spot on’s facility is very clean, warm, well equipped and maintained. Photos were sent daily and I was advised of how each day went. He was taken on several field trips to various stores to get him exposed to different places and experiences along with some of the other dogs in training. Upon pickup, I worked with the trainer who showed me what he learned and how I would continue his training at home. Unfortunately, it’s winter and the weather has been terrible for working with him outside. However, Spot on offers additional training throughout the year included with the fees so I most likely will be having them come out once the weather breaks to work with us outdoors. Happy that he went there and satisfied that he got the care, training and attention that I had hoped for. They also were very kind in the training system that they use.
