Spot-On K9 Training

We had a great experience working with Stephen training our GSD puppy. Our puppy was on the more shy timid side. While teaching him basic commands and proper leash walking Stephen also gave us strategies to increase his confidence to make our puppy into a more confident young adult. All of his strategies are easily followed at home and our puppy quickly picked up on everything he was learning. After each session Stephen sends follow up emails with resources and links for anything you learned in the session. Stephen was always there to answer any questions and also increased our confidence as new dog owners. We look forward to using Stephen again in the future and would recommend to all our family and friends.

Stephen is great to work with. My main concern was an anxious dog who wanted to lead our walks – from the first lesson, our walks completely changed. It's made SUCH a difference in the day-to-day with my pup. More than anything, I feel like Stephen equipped me with the tools to be able to communicate with my dog – I know these skills will continue to help me in the future. I would definitely recommend Spot-On to anyone looking to better their working relationship with their dog!

Stephen is a phenomenal trainer. The results with our dog, Cicero, were very rapid. Stephen has a very patient and direct approach that makes at home training in between sessions very clear. He also has a very dog friendly energy cause our dog was wagging his tail by training session 2 to see him. Very importantly, Stephen set us tasks/homework that accelerated Cicero’s training. We went to Stephen because Cicero lunged at people when he got nervous or over protective. With a few exercises and encouragement to be consistent in training, the lunging ceased. Each session with Stephen was fun and efficient and the results in Cicero’s behaviour are clear to see. 5 star all round.

Stephen has been the most amazing trainer for my pup! She came to him with behavioral issues namely aggression towards other dogs and separation anxiety. Throughout the training sessions i have seen major changes in bambi and we are now able to live a much happier life! Bambi is able to walk incredibly on the leash, stay in place for up to 45 minutes and is slowly getting more comfortable around other dogs. I am so happy that we were able to make these changes as her behavior was making us question if we were a right fit for her and her needs. Bambi went from a scared and shy dog to a much more confident puppy! Thank you so much Stephen!
