Never have I worked with a true, experienced expert in all things dogs! George is multi gifted and a true dog whisperer! My first generation Goldendoodle, Marley and I worked with George 1-1 in addition to sending Marley to George's for a 6 week board and train session. Marely came back with perfect leash skills, sitting, staying, laying down, tricks, not barking around other dogs, social skills with people and cats, and able to ring a bell to go out to the bathroom. Additionally, George is an exceptional groomer! I can't say enough about George and Stanford k9 Dog Training.

I recently brought home my very first competition puppy. As any first timer would, you can imagine the relief I felt in knowing that my questions will always be answered and in feeling prepared for such a new adventure. Jorge has been the most treasured resource during this time. His experience as a dog owner and competitor, as well as a mentor to both dog owners and professional trainers like myself put him at the top of the dog training world. Despite the incredible amount of passion and knowledge Jorge has as a trainer, he is continuously proofing and perfecting his trade - a quality that is incredibly valuable as the world of dog training is forever evolving. As a dog owner whose intent it is to raise a healthy, happy pet, no amount of books or youtube videos will beat the quality experience of working next to a professional.

George Mendiola is my hero when it comes to training and boarding my dog Watson! I've known George for about 7 years now and he has helped make my life as a dog owner so much easier and more fulfilling. Watson adores him (she literally squeals with joy when we round the corner to his house), and he is always available to watch her overnight, even last minute, when I need to travel which has made countless trips possible over the years. Watson is a reactive dog and I know that I never have to worry about her at George's house since he is such an excellent dog trainer. He has given me tons of training advice over the years, and even came to my house for private lessons to help with Watson's food/resource guarding. He is so helpful and knowledgable. I have complete trust in George and his training techniques, and I recommend him to my friends often.

Jorge was a life saver for us. Our dog Declan was a nightmare to walk on a leash; he'd pull and lunge at cars constantly. It wasn't fun to walk him and sometimes it was flat out unsafe. With help from Jorge, Declan is so much better behaved, and we've gained insights into Declan's behavior and needs that help us work with him on an ongoing basis. He gets tons of walks now and we're a happier family for it!
