Stanfur'd k9 - Dog Training

After finishing my training with StanFÜR’D k9, my once-aggressive, separation-anxious, and nonstop-barking dog is now almost perfectly behaved, and the dog of my dreams! I’ve always loved my min-pin/chihuahua mix Miley, but her separation anxiety was so severe that she would bark nonstop for hours when left alone. I had to bring Miley everywhere—grocery stores, work, restaurants, dentist appointments, you name it; she would lunge and bark at every dog on every walk. I was embarrassed, annoyed, but resigned to be tied to her since she’s also quite loving and sweet with me. I’d spent thousands on three personal trainers and many group training sessions over the years, and I figured she was a hopeless case. After having my baby nine months ago, Miley bit my husband and started barking for hours even while I was home, jumping all over us all day. She was out of control around the baby. She slept in our bed every night, otherwise barking nonstop. I knew I’d miss my dog for the 6 weeks of board and train, but I was so irritated and worried about my baby’s safety that I considered trying to re-home her. It’s been 3 months since Miley finished her 6 week board and train. She walks by other dogs so quietly and calmly on walks that I finally enjoy them without being stressed or embarrassed! I have freedom and can leave her home while I do errands! I can even sit inside at restaurants for once! She quietly sleeps in her crate at night! After the program, our relationship is much better because I’m not mad at her all the time, like before. We have clear communication about rules and boundaries. The Pelle family cannot say enough great things about Jorge and Standfurd K9 training. Coca came from a shelter and was very anxious of people and very reactive to all dogs. Cocoa is an amazing dog after completing the six week boot camp. She is a happy and calmer dog and no longer barks at other dogs and people. She no longer pulls on the leash and now knows how to be amongst busy streets and cafes.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We sent our mini bernedoodle for a 2-week board-and-train program, and the experience exceeded our expectations. From day one, George was incredibly kind, communicative, and genuinely invested in our dog's success. Throughout the program, he sent regular updates, videos and training tips so we could see her progress in real time—which was both reassuring and exciting! The transformation has been amazing. Our dog now walks relaxed by our side, doesn't pull on the leash, no longer scavenges on walks, and is much calmer and respectful of boundaries at home. George spent a significant amount of time helping us understand how dogs think, communicate, and learn. By the end, we realized that dog training is really owner training in disguise. He gave us the tools and confidence to continue reinforcing good habits long after the program ends. As an added bonus, he's also an incredible groomer! Our pretty girl came home looking fantastic. George has completely earned our trust and we will continue to rely on him for future boarding and grooming needs. Highly recommended!
